Of course, February marks Black History Month; and, as is customary by now, Nike has come up with a number of different designs to help commemorate this year’s celebration. Included in the Nike Black History Month Collection that will release tomorrow from participating Nike Sportswear retailers is a Nike Blazer, Air Force 1 Low, Air Max 1 and Huarache Free Run. Each sneaker comes in a midnight fog upper with colorful themes that accent each particular shoe in places such as the tongue and ankle lining. After taking a look at the Nike Blazer that’s included in the “Black History Month” collection for 2012, we now take another look at said colorway of this still-going-strong Nike design. It carries the official midnight fog/black colorway and comes with a red/navy theme seen along the outline of the Nike swoosh, ankle lining and shoe laces. These are set to retail for $110 in adult sizes and release this coming weekend.

Rounding out a trio of retro Nike Sportswear releases at Premier is this Blazer.

Decked out in red suede with a red nylon tongue, these feature white accents throughout and receive the vintage treatment with retro branding, exposed tongue padding and a distressed sole.

You can pick these up now from NSW spots for $100.

Coming next month is a brand new Nike SB Blazer, this time in the “Elite” version not often seen.

Decked out in premium leather atop a white sole, this Blazer Elite features a dark charcoal grey upper alongside gold contrast stitching and eyelets.

Set to be a limited release, look for the “Classic Charcoal” SB Blazer Elite to hit your local Nike SB account in March.

The Nike Blazer continues trying to stay relevant, as it joins the Black History Month Nike collection in a brown colorway nicely accented by red and black. Now it’s having the Vac Tech manufacturing applied to it. Pictured here is the Nike Sportswear Blazer in a mid-top cut with black wool and the aforementioned vac tech. White soles, a white tongue and white/black shoe laces complete this “oreo-” like colorway. These are available now through select Nike carriers.

Following our initial look at the Black History Month Collection, Nike has now dropped official images of all the kicks.

First up is the Blazer. Decked out in a grey suede upper, the kicks sport a hit of maroon suede around the eyestay and near the midsole, while black suede adorns the heel panel. Featuring a predominately red pattern on the lining, more red hits the tongue branding and outsole while a multicolored stitched Swoosh and black midsole round out the look.

The BHM Blazer will drop with the rest of the collection on February 11 on Nike.com.

We recently showed our readers a Nike SB Blazer high in the always-popular purple, along with hints of grey and white. Today, we take a look at two Spring 2012 colorways of the non-SB Nike Blazer high. One is dressed in a soft blue suede upper with matching shoe laces; and, the second comes in salmon pink with matching laces. This pack offers colorways that would look good on the feet of either gender; and, certain shoe shops have already begun receiving their shipments. Will you be targeting either of these colorways?
