Nike is giving the Nike Air Max 1 some classic flavor with the release of the Nike Air Max 1 ND West Edition in this sweet white/black-red colorway. The shoe uses black suede on the swoosh and around the shoe, with red suede on the main upper. White mesh controls the toebox to match the midsole, with black inner lining to contrast the shoe. The tongue tag reads the Nike logo along with “West” to signify where it’s from. The shoe is available for pre-order at a price of $155 and will ship out the first of October.

Continuing with the “electric green” theme popping up in sneaker news, most notably associated with the Vandal High, Nike plans to release a Nike Air Max 90 Current in a similar colorway. This particular pair is very intricate. First off, it comes in a predominantly dark colored base, which allows for the grey braille pattern to be pronounced. Electric green accents are applied to the patented Nike check and around the air bubble unit. To finish things off, Nike has applied a vibrant blue to the shoe’s sock lining and air bubble, while it all sits atop a white sole and comes with shoe laces in the same color. Which upcoming “electric green” Nike release do you like more- the Vandal High or Air Max 90 Current? How does this Air Max 90 Current stack up with the other previewed Air Max 90 Currents? Back in May, we presented to you a preview of the year’s upcoming Nike Running Retro & Air Max releases, which included the Air Max 90 Current Huarache done up in a Hufquake colorway. This pair hosts a large white cracked pattern on the toecap, midpanel, and heel, which is accented by a black base, white midsole, and blue hits on the tongue and rear. By combining the latest Current Huarache technology with an extraordinary colorway, Nike has definitely made a product that is worth checking out. The Nike Air Max 95 is so loved among sneakerhead circles worldwide, that it is almost impossible to execute a colorway on it that won’t appeal to a large constituency of ‘95 lovers. Nike’s making sure that next Spring at least one ‘95 sells out completely by re-releasing yet again the famous Neon colorway. But we’ve now received word of another ‘95 done up in yet another classic colorway that is sure to have fans scrambling as well. The Air Max ‘95 pictured here comes in a predominantly black and dark grey colorway with yellow accents near the upper, on the tongue, and in the air unit. Like many Air Max ’95s out there, these don’t seem to be headed stateside- so you’ll have to ship these into the U.S. or take a trip overseas to get a hold of these. But if you love Air Max ’95s, as I do, then it’ll surely be worth it.

It’s about time the Nike Air Max BW got a new look for 2010. Here we have a preview of the Nike Air max BW 2010, which is featured as a modern Nike runner. This AM BW sports a seamless upper with a new take on mesh material design. The black swoosh is printed on the shoe to take away from the weight, keeping the shoe nice and light. Of course, the Air Max unit is placed in this white midsole, making this a comfortable runner. This shoe should be out by Spring of 2010, so keep your eyes pealed.

After the release of the Nike Air Max Light Tecmo Bowl, it’s nice to see a clean and elegant pair of Air Max Lights. This time, Nike gave the Air Max Light a white/metro grey-cherrywood red colorway, but with a cracking twist. The white leather upper is contrasted by a metro grey cracked leather panel, as  you can see in the pictures. With a matching silky inner lining, this shoe not only feels comfortable, but looks it as well. It’s available now online for $163.

With the popularity of the Nike Air Max 90 Infrareds, Nike Sportswear has given the Nike Air Max 90 a different tone, resulting in the Nike Sportswear Air Max 90 Premium LE Women’s in neutral grey/white-black-clear mint. The shoe uses a variety of materials, including grey mesh, black and grey suede, and a clear swoosh. The grey and black upper is contrasted by a white midsole and mint Air Max unit. This shoe will be available next January, so be patient.
