Earlier this summer the females were treated to an array of Nike Air Max 1’s that were part of a “Safari” Pack. Now, a popular colorway of two purple tones and grey have been applied to a new Air Max 1 that also sports a more subtle touch of the iconic safari print. With a suede and mesh upper, the safari print consists of synthetic leather, and the laces holes contain yellow accents. This hybrid is part of Nike’s rivalry theme, as New York based DQM represents the East, which is tatted on the tongue tag and spotted insole. The Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache uses a Nike FREE outsole, Air Max unit, Huarache heel panel with flywire, and a neoprene tongue. To get ready for the spring season, Nike Sportswear is giving many of its classic silhouettes some stylish makeovers. The Air Pegasus model is no exception, with the upcoming release of the Nike Sportswear Air Pegasus ‘89 in a black/medium grey-electric green colorway. The upper consists of black suede, leather, and mesh, all of which are contrasted nicely by electric green on the inner lining, and medium grey on the leather swoosh. The black midsole and outsole shows a hint of white to mix it up a bit. This shoe will release January 2010, just in time for the oncoming spring season.

The 2009 holiday season is shaping up to be a big one- due in large part to a number of highly sought after Jordan releases.
