Nike is appreciating the old school with its latest release of the Nike Air Max 90. This AM90 features a white/white-varsity maize colorway, a nice simple colorway which sports a full white leather and mesh upper. But, that’s not all; the black midsole rocks a varsity maize waffle iron design to pay homage to Bill Bowerman’s ingenious waffle iron idea, which he utilized for the Nike Waffle Racer and Nike Waffle Trainer. Even the the Nike Air Hoop Structure has been met with great success, Nike hasn’t forgotten about its original component: the Nike Air Structure Triax. The Nike Air Structure Triax 91 has come in a white/white-electric green-blue sapphire colorway for the Spring of 2010. The shoe consists of a white leather, suede, and mesh upper, with a white patent leather swoosh to match the patent leather tongue. The patent leather ankle panel and outsole are both donned in blue sapphire, with electric green accents on the midsole and stitching on the shoe. Grey has been added to the midsole as well to give this shoe some depth. All in all, this is a clean shoe for any occasion, and will be released in March 2010.

As we saw a small glimpse of the Nike Air Max 90 Day of the Dead edition already, we’ve come upon some detailed looks of the shoe. The Nike Air max 90 DOTD sports a black leather base to set the dark tone of Halloween. Orange has been placed in the mix of the shoe and its pattern on the mudguard, along with hints of green and purple. Black mesh on the toebox and the black leather are contrasted by the purple patent leather swoosh, inner lining, and purple outsole. This colorway definitely depicts the Day of the Dead theme, and makes a great addition to your Halloween hypebeast costume, especially with the matching glow in the dark shirt. With the recent retroes of some of the most popular silhouettes of the Nike Air Max line, it was about time the Nike Air Max ST OG was given some fresh air. The Nike Air Max ST OG is out in a white/black-red colorway, complete with a white leather and mesh upper, red leather swoosh, and black mudguard.
