Nike and the Lebron signature series sneaker line are definitely FAR from strangers to the PE game. One particular colorway we often see on Lebron’s shoes is that of the Saint Vincent-Saint Mary high school LBJ used to play for. For example, in the middle of September we brought you a look at the Nike Zoom Lebron III done up in the green/white-gold. Now, the same color palette has been executed on this pair of Nike Zoom LBJ Ambassador II’s. This pair, however, is predominantly white, with green and gold only accenting the shoe. There is no official word of a stateside release, but how many of you are feeling these enough to jump at the first opportunity to cop? Initially, Nike had set an October 24th general release date for the Air Max Lebron VII’s. And while they DID receive a momentary release date change, they are now BACK on the October 24th release schedule. That means that this Saturday- for those of you who haven’t already pre-ordered/purchased early- you can be sure to find these at all House of Hoops locations and FootLockers, as well as other participating Nike retailers.

Interestingly enough, there is also word of a release date change to the pair of “Rising Sun” Air Jordan XII’s also set to release this coming Saturday. A rumored release month change to November would be utterly mind-boggling, considering the fact that many stores have already begun to make these available for pre-order and sale. If any more changes do come, we’ll be sure to report them to you as quickly as possible- we know that funds need to be appropriately allocated and that date changes can make that a bit more difficult.

The seventh edition of Lebron’s signature sneaker series with Nike has been marketed quite well and very extensively. With complementary initiatives like the international artist series and a House of Hoops release of the “China Moon” Lebron VII’s TODAY, this Nike silhouette is making yet another big splash.

Seen here are the first preview shots of a Nike Air Max Lebron VII that comes in a predominantly black/white colorway with well-placed turquoise accents in places like the see-through heel and around the Nike swoosh. Another important detail to take note of is that instead of the flywire design we’re used to seeing on the side panels of Nike Lebron VII’s, these consist of an inter-woven pattern, which, on the heel, also includes the L23 logo outlined in tuquoise. Lastly, a small nameplate that reads “LEBRON” is also included on the shoelaces. As soon as any developments regarding an official release come up, rest assured that we here at SneakerFiles will deliver the news to you. Before any Nike Air Max Lebron VII even came close to officially releasing, an absolute flurry of colorways could be previewed online as a result of a massive advertisement campaign championed by the Nike team and King James himself. In an effort to expand Lebron’s market, several pairs of his seventh signature Nike shoe were made in honor of foreign cities like London and the Chinese pair pictured here.

Several pairs of the Lebron VII only released in their respective cities, such as the aforementioned London pair. That lead many of us fans to fear that the Lebron VII “China Moon” too would only be available for purchase in China. We’re glad to report that that’s not the case. House of Hoops locations in the states will be the only Nike retailer to carry this white/metallic gold Lebron VII that is inspired by the traditional Chinese Moon Festival. Get your funds and popcorn ready as these will be releasing come this Saturday October 17, 2009. It is almost guaranteed to be CRAZY out there.

Nike and Lebron always bless their closest affiliated school systems- as seen through the Nike Zoom Lebron Soldier III high school PE’s. Now it’s time for colleges to get some of that sort of loving. Two Nike Zoom Lebron Soldier III PE’s are set to release soon at House of Hoops locations nationwide- one for Ohio State and one for Akron. Lebron never fails to show his home state love through sneaker releases that really play off of team colors. The Ohio State pair comes in red and white with the school “O” on the lower strap, while the Akron pair comes in navy blue and gold with the Akron “A” and mascot on the lower strap as well. Be sure to keep up with your House of Hoops releases as these are set to drop any time now.

Even though the Nike Air Max LeBron VII is the talk of the town for LBJ, Nike still hasn’t forgotten the success met by the sixth installment of LeBron’s signature line. The Nike Zoom LeBron VI Low comes in a classic black/white-varsity red colorway, with a white leather and black suede upper, which contrasts nicely with the white leather swoosh. The midsole is what makes the shoe stand out, as it is made of carbon fiber material to make the looks of the shoe live up to its performance.
