Along with making the Air Jordan 2012 available for your customizing pleasure, Nike iD will also celebrate Valentine’s Day tomorrow by giving us some new iD options for the Nike LeBron 9. It seems as though each subsequent Nike LeBron siganture shoe series release gains a bit more popularity than the one before. Now, with more iD options soon to come for said Nike LeBron 9, could this make the Nike LeBron 9 the basektball sneaker-of-choice for more basketball practitioners out there?

Back in December we brought you our first look at the upcoming Fall 2012 release of the LeBron Soldier 6. Now we also have our first look at a low-top version of the kicks.

Retaining the same Hyperfuse upper and midfoot strap, the only real difference between these and their high-top brethren is the lower cut for the ankle.

The most subdued look of Nike Basketball’s BHM collection is the LeBron 9.

Sporting a black and dark grey upper, the LeBron kicks utilize the colorful BHM pattern on the midfoot harness, lining and sole while BHM branding once again graces the tongue in place of the usual LBJ signature.

Hit up Nike.com at Midnight EST to cop these tonight or hit spots like Wish tomorrow to grab them for $170.

Decked out in red, the kicks sport a black tongue, lining and Swoosh alongside a white midsole and hits of turquoise on the LBJ tongue signature, midfoot harness, Swoosh outsole, full length Max Air unit and outsole.

Definitely a clean look for the kicks, hopefully we’ll see this colorway make it to retail. Stay tune for future info on this Nike LeBron 9 Low.

After taking a closer look at the “Summit Lake Hornets” Nike LeBron 9, you may have decided that tracking a pair down will definitely be on your to-do list. If you’re not really taken by it, perhaps you’ll want to wait until February 14th to iD your own pair. Why? Well, because on Valentine’s Day, there will be a limited run of new iD options made available for the Nike LeBron 9. We can’t wait to see how much more control they give us over our colorways.

The “Summit Lake Hornets” LeBron kicks are always some of the better looking colorways in the signature line, making a departure from the usual look with purple and turquoise.

As you can tell from this latest round of images, the bright purple really pops with the Hyperfuse upper of the LeBron 9 while the turquoise accents and speckled midsole provide a good contrast.

Complete with a crowned hornet on the heel, look for these to drop in the very near future.

With the Nike LeBron 9 “Swingman” already available overseas, many people have already started to get there hands on them ahead of the US release next month.

A tribute to the retired MLB great, this marks the first time the Swingman logo has hit another shoe outside of Griffey’s signature line, in this case in the form of a hybrid Dunkman/Swingman on the heel of the kicks.

Decked out in a Mariners-esque colorway, the kicks drop stateside on March 2 for $170.
