Many sneakerheads understandably so rejoiced after hearing of a re-release of the Nike Air Foamposite One “Eggplant” only a year removed from its last release. However, the rumor mills are now spreading word of another return a little more than one year in the making. The Nike Air Go LWP (Lightweight Performance) was actually released for the first time in 1994 and sported by the likes of Anfernee Hardaway despite it not being part of his signature shoe series with Nike. Sixteen years later, the Nike Air Go LWP will return at some point during this year’s holiday season in at least the black/white-royal blue colorway pictured here. Stay tuned for developing release information.

Those of you who follow Lebron James (and his feet) closely know that SneakerFiles has previously shown you some pairs of the Nike Air Max Lebron VII low that do not sport the 360-degree Air Max unit. One of those pairs came in a blue/white-orange colorway that inevitably led New York Knicks fans to dream even more about seeing King James in a New York Knicks uniform- especially after catching a glimpse of the bottom of the shoe. Nike has apparently decided to keep feeding off of the rumors of Lebron James switching locations. However, the brand has evidently made a couple of changes to the aforementioned “NY Knicks” Nike Air Max Lebron VII low- by way of no “I (Lion) NY” emblem, and no collection of question marks in places such as the top of the tongue and along the ankle lining. Furthermore, Nike has also designed three other pairs of the Nike Air Max Lebron VII low that build off of said rumors.

A predominantly red Nike Air Max Lebron VII low has been designed with the Russian soccer team of PFC CSKA Moscow in mind, since Lebron jokingly proclaimed he’d play for them were the money right. There is also a light brown pair of the Nike Air Max Lebron VII low that represents the Cleveland Browns, who you’ll recall made its own covert campaign to pry King James off of the court and onto the football field with things such as a Nike commercial depicting what that move would possibly be like. Lastly, a predominantly light grey pair apparently represents the New Jersey Nets franchise. It, thanks in part to the relationship between Jay-Z and Lebron James, is also positioning itself to hopefully lure Lebron away from Cleveland come this next off-season. You can check out more pictures of each pair after the jump, which have been provided by one overseas Nike retailer making all four colorways available for purchase early.

We all know Kobe Bryant is a fan of low-top basketball sneakers, which stems in part from his love for soccer. So it’s no surprise that the Black Mamba was also a supporter of the Nike Hyperdunk Low model, such as the “Snake Pool” pair he endorsed. Now, we have another Nike Zoom Kobe V to show you, which, like the “Snake Pool” Nike Hyperdunk Low sports “del sol” coloring- but only minimally. Pictured here is the black/del sol-white Nike Zoom Kobe V that comes with a predominantly black upper, with slight white and “del sol” yellow accents. Moreover, the sole comes with black speckles, while the white shoe laces also have black dots. Check out more pictures of this Kobe V after the jump, and let us know what you think of this colorway.

It is become safer and safer to say that no other single basketball silhouette has made a bigger splash on the hardwood floor this NBA season than the Nike Air Max Lebron VII.  DJ Clark Kent snapped the above photos of home and away Lebron VII “Hardwood Classics” PEs. Earlier in the season, Lebron James chose to display his basketball expertise while sporting a mismatching pair of Nike Air Max Lebron VII Hardwood Classics whose colorways were basically the inverse of each other (and happen to go pretty darn well with a Knicks jersey). We also saw him sport another Nike Air Max Lebron VII in a dark red hue that matched another one of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Hardwood Classic uniforms. Now we’d like to show you some up-close shots of all three Hardwood Classics mentioned here for your viewing pleasure. Should any of these see a release date at some future point in time, believe that Sneaker Files will keep you informed.

This week we caught wind of a return of the Nike Air Flightposite II in a limited edition metallic zinc colorway that got several basketball sneakerheads excited. We also received word of the official re-releasing of the ever-so-popular Nike Air Foamposite One Eggplant that last year also sent shoe fiends into a frenzy (yours truly included). Now we’d like to take the time to remind our readers that both of these Nike basketball silhouettes will be releasing in the mentioned colorways from select Nike retailers starting tomorrow, Saturday, March 6th. While the Nike Air Flightposite II releasing is retailing for $180 in adult sizes and should be worlds easier to get your hands on, the Eggplant Nike Air Foamposite One is going for the usual $200 price tag and will be much more difficult to get a hold of. Bottom line- plan ahead. Happy hunting!
