As the ”School Series” for the Nike Zoom Kobe IV continues, today we are exposed to the Rice High School Edition. Predominantly black with yellow and green accents, the ZKIV – Rice serve as a very honorable representation to the Rice High School team colors that are forest green and yellow. It must be nice to be sponsored by the Kobe Brand. For those interested in getting a pair (or two) of these limited release sneakers they will be available in March only at House of Hoops locations, but bank on the fact that they will be showing up on online auction site soon after their release.

Up next in the parade of new colorways for the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) is a pair designed to honor Kobe Bryant’s Alma mater, Lower Merion High School of Philadelphia. The pair features a mostly white upper with white and red Flywire technology, and red and white midsole and outsoles. The heel of the shoe features the “Aces” logo of Lower Merion, as well as Kobe’s number embossed into white snakeprint. Release date expected sometime next month. More after the jump.

With the plethora of new colorways of the Nike Hyperdunk and the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) being released as of late, a new sneaker for Kobe Bryant may come a surprise to some sneakerheads. There is no doubt that the Hyperdunk and ZKIV are two of Kobe’s best sneakers, and Nike hopes to continue their recent success with Bryant’s sneaker, the Nike Dream Season. The Dream Season takes much inspiration from the Zoom Kobe IV including key aesthetical aspects such as Kobe’s signature on the heel and a similar notch outsole. The Nike Dream Season is also set to yield a Phylon midsole and an air unit in the heel for added support and comfort. The Nike Dream Season is set to make its debut in Fall 2009. Via Kenlu.

Nike has already delivered the Zoom Kobe IV (4) created for Duke and add USC to their line of sneakers created for premier schools. The ZKIV is tailored to the Trojans and sport cardinal and gold along with the school’s logo at the heel. The majority of the sneaker is made up of cardinal, while gold is found on the swoosh and other accents.  The upper is adorned in patent leather as well as faux snakeskin on the heel. The USC Zoom Kobe IV (4) will be sold at the House of Hoops next month for the start of March Madness. Via SC.

The Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) is showing that there’s more to the sneaker than just colorways revolving the Los Angeles Lakers. Stepping into broader designs, this ZKIV consists of white and metallic silver. The majority of the sneaker sports white including the frontal which appears to be made up of basketball material, while metallic silver is found at the heel, tongue and around the swoosh. Earlier today, we featured the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) – Duke Player Exclusives (PE), and now we are seeing a preview of a new Nike ZKIV made for another university with an elite basketball program. This cardinal and gold colorway is made exclusively for the athletes over at the University of Southern California to rock while attempting to make a run during March Madness. This pair yields the typical Trojans’ colorway of cardinal, gold, and white. Most of the sneaker is coated in cardinal while the swoosh is in gold and the midsole and toebox are in white. With March Madness just around the corner, Nike and Kobe Bryant are teaming up to outfit Duke University’s basketball players with their very own Nike Zoom Kobe IV Player Exclusives. Duke players will be receiving a home colorway and an away colorway of the ZKIV so they can look fresh for all their games. The away pair features a black leather base with blue and white accents. The home colorway (seen after the ‘jump’) yields a white upper with blue accents, a black swoosh, and a black heel.
