Nike Zoom Kobe 4 (IV) - Lower Merion High School

Before Kobe Bryant was drafted into the NBA in 1996 by the Charlotte Hornets, he attended Lower Merion High School; thus, it comes as no surprise that the Pennsylvania institute will be receiving their own colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe 4. This pair hosts a clean white upper accented by a red swoosh, silver toecap, red inner lining, silver tongue, red heel, and red/white laces. Overall, the sneaker yields a simple and fresh colorway that will definitely sell out if it ever makes its way to retail shelves. As of now, there is no release information available, so be sure to stay tuned for any updates.

Just as we were starting to think that Nike was beginning to stray away from the Zoom Kobe IV in favor of the newer Zoom Kobe V, images of a rather appealing colorway of the high performance basketball shoe have brought the shoe back into the spotlight. Similar to the Playoff Pack colorway we saw earlier in the year, the model utilizes a black and white upper, but forgoes the customary splash of Lakers blood featured in most of Kobe’s signature shoes. Few details about the model are known,  but word on the street is that we could be facing a limited release. Keep your eyes peeled for more information to come.

The white is found on the swoosh and midsole, while a green toebox and flywire side panel add nice touches to the shoe. “24″ makes its mark on the back heel to complete this sweet shoe.
