We’ve seen many anticipatory shots of Nike Kobe IV’s that sport a lot of color. One of the Kobe IV’s that sport a good chunk of black on them are the ones that also sport varsity blue and red accents. But now there are shots of another pair that sports a good amount of black. The Nike Kobe IV’s pictured here reservethe Lakers gold and purple color scheme to the back part of the shoe, while the toe box is bordered in black snakeskin leather. There still isn’t any word regarding an official release date, but you can check out more pictures of these “Gradient Lakers” Nike Kobe IV’s after the jump to see if these peak your interest.

In July we brought you news of a Nike Zoom Kobe 4 released in honor of Kobe’s golden efforts during the 2008 Summer Olympics. There are now shots of a new Nike Zoom Kobe 4 nicknamed the “Golden Mamba,” which is obviously a hybrid of Kobe Bryant’s nickname “Black Mamba” and the material he’s become used to seeing on the trophies he earns- gold. With a predominantly white upper, L.A. Lakers purple on the sole, golden accents that reach from the outside mid panel to the heel of the shoe, and red accents that do the same on the inside mid panel, perhaps this Zoom Kobe 4 will be No. 24’s most consistent shoe of choice this upcoming NBA season in hopes of reeling in more hardware. The inside soles obviously pay homage to both of Kobe’s Olympic and NBA championship achievements, while a flowery/reptilian pattern makes its way from just below the Nike check to the back heel. About three weeks ago we reported on the Nike Zoom Kobe IV “Lower Merion” designed with the NBA Finals MVP’s high school in mind. The “Rice” Kobe IV was designed for Rice High School, which Kobe has chosen to endorse and support. And as promised- here’s your update. We now have word that both pairs of Nike Zoom Kobe IV’s will become available for sale at Nike House of Hoops stores nationwide starting tomorrow, Saturday September 19, 2009. These are two really nice PE’s- but which one would you be more likely to gravitate towards if/when you peep these in store?

Almost two-and-a-half months ago, we reported on a Nike Air Zoom Kobe IV that sported a predominantly black and varsity blue upper with red and white accents throughout the shoe. Because SneakerFiles promises to keep you updated, we have now received word and report that, alongside the Chicago and L.A. House of Hoops, the New York House of Hoops has also received a shipment of these Kobe IV’s as of Monday. If you’re not yet financially ready to purchase these, they will also start hitting certain FootLocker retailers towards the latter part of this month. How many of you like this Kobe IV colorway? This incredible White/Grey – Varsity Purple Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) recently emerged as the latest colorway of Nike Basketball’s favorite lowtop sneaker. The shoe features a clear middle interspersed with Varsity Purple Flywire strands. A white patent toecap and translucent/Varsity Purple speckle mudguard add a nice level of durability up front. Little is known for now about this Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4), but we’ll update when more information surfaces.

Previewed last week, the latest PE colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV has just been offered up as a limited quickstrike release. In remembrance of Bryant’s days with the Lower Merion Aces, the model utilizes their home jersey color scheme of Red, White, and Grey, as well as striped laces and mascot insignia. As is the case with most quickstrike releases, you shouldn’t expect the sneakers to be floating around for too long.

Yesterday, we previewed the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) Varsity Black/Concord/Metallic Gold, a shoe that’ll hit retail in mid-October. This white/gold/purple/varsity red sample version of the IV recently hit the ‘net, complete with snakeskin accents a Black Mamba logo, and Chinese print. The shoe’s combination white patent leather/leather upper is complimented by a red-accented Swoosh and Flywire on the medial side, and gold strands and logo on the other. The insoles celebrate Kobe’s NBA Championship and gold medal in the ‘08 Beijing Olympics. A release date for this Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) sample is unknown; we’ll update if and when we learn more!
