Since debuting the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4), Kobe Bryant’s newest sneaker has featured interesting concepts and themes ranging from high school player exclusives to villain look alikes, but this model is expected to be seen on the feet of number 24. The sneakers are modeled after the Los Angeles Lakers’ MPLS throwback jersey, a color combination often seen in the Zoom Kobe series. Made up of the traditional blue, grey and white, the Zoom Kobe IV is treated with Kobe’s logo on the tongue in purple and checkered laces. Just a few days ago, the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) -Chaos debuted with links to Heath Ledgers role as the Joker in the movie, The Dark Night. Though Nike has not confirmed the Jokers part in the movie, the colors found in the Chaos Kobe IV resembles the characters appearance. The sneakers features purple representing the jacket and hair, green for the vest, red and white for the make-up. However, this isn’t the first time Nike has utilized the villains unique color scheme, it has been used on the Joker Dunk Low released a few years back and also appeared on a sample Dunk SB. As most of us have seen by now, the late Heath Ledger’s performance as the Joker in The Dark Night was absolutely amazing. We are now seeing evidence that Kobe Bryant also found Ledger’s role to be great and has decided to release a colorway of his newest sneaker, the Nike Zoom Kobe IV, in order to commemorate the performance. Though the name of the colorway does not contain a direct reference to the Joker, anyone that has seen The Dark Night can easily relate the word, “chaos” with the Joker. The Nike Zoom Kobe IV “Chaos” features a multicolored upper consisting of a purple base with white, red, and silver accents. This colorway, along with all other colorways of the ZKIV, will include flywire technology and will weigh in at a mere 11.6 ounces.
