Finishing off the last video of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4), Kobe Bryant was giving his away ankle insurance business card to Mike Epps and DJ AM. This time around Bryant is not playing horse against the two, but is rather promoting his new sneaker which ensures protection from broken ankles.


The video imitates the current insurance commercials which has included another NBA superstar, Lebron James. In the commercial, the Zoom Kobe IV is defined as a low, light and quick sneaker to perform against the best of them. Catch the Zoom Kobe IV Carpe Diem in-stores on Saturday, January 17th.

With all the news surrounding Nike’s new Zoom Kobe IV (4), it comes as a surprise to see one more sneaker designed for Kobe Bryant. Nike will release the Dream Season in the Fall of 2009. The Dream Season is reminiscent of the Hyperdunk/Kobe IV fusion Bryant was wearing prior to debuting the Kobe IV. The shape of the Dream Season appears to be a higher cut Kobe IV, however Nike left off Flyewire and Lunar Foam and put in place a Phylon midsole and an air unit in the heel. The new sneaker for number 24 will feature in the traditional white, purple and gold as well as a white, black and red model. Late last month, pictures of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) Chaos leaked online and it was quickly noticed that the shoes shared a color scheme similar to Heath Ledger’s character from The Dark Night, the Joker. As for the Nike Zoom Kobe IV, it is made up of metallic silver, abyss, night shade and sport red as well as a blood splatter effect on the sockliner. Kobe Bryant’s Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) has featured a variety of styles and continues to give Kobe IV fans more to choose from with the latest make-up which is reported to be included in a Playoff Pack. After briefly previewing the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) – MPLS edition, we now get a detailed look at the newest installment in the Zoom Kobe IV collection. Grey, white and blue make up the MPLS model along with hints of purple appearing on Kobe Bryant’s logo on the tongue, bordering the swoosh and lastly on the sole. Other highlights include checkered grey and blue laces along with Bryant’s signature on the back heel. No word on when Kobe will sport this pair on the court, but keep an eye out in the coming weeks. One of the big names in 2009 is the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) which has taken on different appearances and concepts. This model is one of the first to be previewed and will be coming out in February. Featured is a combination of white, black and varsity purple perfect for when the Los Angeles Lakers play in their alternative white jerseys. The sneakers consist of white patent leather along with a hint of black and varsity purple. Lastly the Zoom Kobe IV X sports Kobe Bryant’s signature in purple on the back heel.
