Slowly but surely, the Adidas Nizza silhouette is becoming more and more popular. Thus, it was a no-brainer to put plaid together with the shoe to make it even more appealing. Now, the Adidas Nizza Hi comes in two plaid colorways: grey/black/white and red/black/white. Both shoes use narrow white vulcanized midsoles, especially for the grey pair, which uses a lighter base. The grey pair uses a grey/black plaid wool upper, whereas the other uses a red/black one. They are nicely contrasted by leather panels and a convenient ankle tab. Each pair is available for about $107 online.

The adidas Nizza High has been gaining a lot of attention recently. During the summer we saw what Mark Gonzales did with the silhouette. Now, adidas has dropped another two Nizza Highs. The first one pictured here comes in an almost entirely white colorway with very few black accents. The second pair we’re reporting on comes in a military green colorway and has some gum material accents near the toe box and sole. If your local adidas retailers don’t have these in stock, you can definitely try your luck with certain online retailers that might have you covered- but for how long no one knows.

Redman, born as Reginald “Reggie” Noble, is an iconic figure in the American rap scene, and adidas has decided to honor the rap legend with his own colorway of the Superstar II. This colorway hosts a red suede upper accented by an orange midsole stripe, three black stripes, a white toebox, black inner lining, and a white midsole. A couple other key aspects of this Superstar II include the image of Redman on the tongue, Redman inscribed into the heel, as well as “Funk Doc” on the rear. The “Redman” adidas Superstar II is now available at select retailers.

Earlier this summer we showed you some shots of the adidas Originals OT Tech Tokyo Low in a “bred” colorway. We now have pictures of a blue colorway applied to the same sneaker model. Like the first pair, this pair also has Gore-Tex lining to help your feet stay as dry as possible. A mix of different blue tones cover the upper, which sits on a grey sole that also sports two different tones of blue. A part of the adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2009 lineup, expect these OT Tech Tokyo Low’s to pop up in select adidas retailers rather soon.

DJ Denis Iderman and Skateboarder Ray Mate have worked on reflecting the New York urban scene through its Mighty Healthy clothing line since 2004. Last year, a collaboration between them and both DVS and Huf resulted in a Huf 5 Runner. Now, Mighty Healthy is back at it- this time teaming up with the ever-busy adidas brand. The adidas Performance line meets Mighty Healthy’s street savvy to come up with two shoes. The first is the Street Jam in an olive green and orange colorway with lace covers/straps. The second shoe is the Lux in an off white and maroon colorway. Both shoes sport a Mighty Healthy knife-through-apple logo on the tongue and are expected to drop in the spring of 2010, at which point you can check in with your local adidas and Mighty Healthy retailers to see if they’ll be able to have you covered with this drop.

The Diesel brand has for some years now been growing in popularity- due in large part to a clothing line that includes sleek sneaker designs cool enough to rock at school or in the club. 55DSL is Diesel’s younger, lifestyle arm and plans to celebrate its own 15th anniversary in a huge way. 55DSL will be taking over 15 Diesel stores across the U.S. and selling different pieces from its fall/winter of 2009 men’s collection. Highlighting the 15-store hijacking is an Adidas Originals x 55DSL “XV/55″ sneaker. The XV/55 will become the very first shoe of the the 55DSL brand. Starting Tuesday, September 15th of this year, the 55DSL brand will hijack a Diesel store in a different city every day for fifteen days and make this XV/55 shoe available along with other products from its next collection. Cities include San Fracisco, L.A., Beantown, Chitown, ATL, Miami, Vegas, and- of course- NY. If you follow us, then you know that the Adidas Originals have been HARD at work. From snowboots to hiking boot alternatives, Adidas seems to be trying to look out for everyone. And it is also shaping up for the second season of its Ransom x Adidas Originals collection, which begins to drop in the spring/summer of 2010. The pictured Pier model here is a low-top sneaker model made out of canvas and comes in a predominantly vibrant blue colorway with white stitching and soles, a rubber midsole, and leather laces.
