Adidas Originals has teamed up with world famous artist, Fafi, to create a small collection of graphic shoes for their Fall/Winter 2009 line. With the classic Honey Mid and Stan Smith sneakers as her canvas, the Parisian artist was able to translate her comic book stylings into the uppers of both models, fine tuning the artistry with off-white piping and outsoles. Solebox is doing it big as it has just given us all a heads up on its latest collabo with Adidas. The Solebox x Adidas Originals Berlin Consortium, designed by the Berlin-based brand, combines old school with the new. The Solebox crew took the original colorway of the Adidas Berlin and placed it in the inner of the shoe, and placed the new school Berlin colorway on the upper. The upper uses black mesh and baby blue leather, which is contrasted by a gumsole to give the shoe a classic feel. The Solebox name is placed on the tongue tag under the Adidas logo to let us know who the geniuses were behind the shoe. It will release at Solebox in limited quantities October 17th.

It should be clear by now that Jeremy Scott is not afraid to take a risk and apply his unique style to any piece of work. After bringing us these very attention-hungry snowboots, he now brings us this pair of basketball sneakers aptly nicknamed the JS Africa. Obviously inspired by the African continent, Jeremy Scott included what looks like a tribal mask on the shoe’s tongue and tribal pattern on the inner lining. With a simple yet colorful upper made up of blue, yellow, and red, the shoe sits on a white midsole and black outsole. With releases like the Torsion Low Gore-Tex, adidas has been making strides to cover all of your outerwear needs. This time around, adidas re-focuses the attention on runners with these two pairs of ZX 95 Run Torsion’s. One pair sports a black/dark grey base with orange and different green accents that stand out on the subtle base color. A second pair operates in sort of the same way- with pink and blue highlights on a predominantly light brown upper. Two words: Kazuki Kuraishi. Adidas Originals teamed up with the Japanese designer once again to create the Adidas Originals by Originals 7 Hole Boot. The Boot comes in two classic colorways: black/blue and brown/yellow. As perhaps the best boot to release this year, the 7 Hole Boot uses premium weathered leather in black and brown, respectively, with the 3 stripes re-vamped and placed further towards the ankle. The upper also features a protruding leather design to enforce a rugged look for the boot, which uses a sneaker sole. The bottom is white on the midsole and luxuriously translucent on the outsole. Don’t understand? Check the pictures for yourself. These are top of the line shoes from a top of the line designer. These are set to release for the Adidas Autumn/Winter 2009 collection. A little over a week ago we brought you a sneak peek of a very colorful and sure-to-be attention grabbing pair of JS Wings executed by adidas Originals. Though that pair was only worn at an overseas fashion show, two pairs of JS Wings have released- one with a silver upper and black sole, another in a completely black color-up. The wings are more noticeable on the silver pair, especially thanks to the contrast in color on the sole. However, the black pair hides the wings better (at least from afar and when still), which would allow for a more shocking surprise when someone actually notices the flight capabilities of your sneakers. You can start hunting at adidas retailers now since some have already received them and have them for sale.
