Sneakerheads showed Converse a lot of love and respect for what they did with a low-top Chuck Taylor on which they applied a “stone” color palette. Now, Converse turns its attention to the mid-top cut of the Chuck Taylor Skate. Ready for a holiday 2009 release are the two pairs of CTS Mid’s pictured here in predominantly suede black and suede brown uppers. The brown pair sports an all-white sole with a dash of black, and it is available now at Converse retailers. Interestingly enough, the black pair sports the same black accent on the sole, however, the sole is grey as opposed to white, and it is set to drop come November 1st. Both shoes are made for wear and tear as you ride down the winter streets, so pick your weapon. Which pair do you like better?

As the summer months began to fade, we showed you a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor high’s that commemorate AC/DC’s “Powerage” album and seems to get most of its punch from the brightly colored accents that exist on the laces and even the heel. However, the pair of Converse sneakers pictured here are sure to get the attention of many as a result of the combination of wool material and the bright royal blue said material comes in. With a white vulcanized rubber sole and black toe cap, these could be a good pick-up for the fall/winter season. These are available now at select Converse retailers.

The Converse Addict, Japan’s high-end version of the Chuck Taylor All-Star, has been released in three new colorways in the shoe’s second round of releases. Premium materials, re-enforced forefoot stitching, Poron cushioning, and Vibram outsoles are the most notable of the shoe’s many lux features, setting the line apart from the high-top Cons most of us are used to. You can find the Converse Addict in Black, White, and Green/Red/Purple (Joker, anyone?) from R*izm today.

Converse has made a name for itself largely off of the success of its Chuck Taylor sneaker. And collaborations with brands such as Victim help continually build their fan base. However, the Vans crew knows when it needs to pay attention to its staple shoe. The Chuck Taylor pictured here is actually a part of Vans’ skating designs, and comes in a low-top cut with “stone” grey upper. Some variation exists on the sole, which is mostly white with a hint of black. No official release date yet, but a suggested retail price is somewhere between $50 and $60- just make sure you’re on top of when this Chuck Taylor Skate comes to your favorite Converse retailer.
