The Olympic Edition Converse WADE 4 (IV) was initially previewed back in August and now in October two new styles have surfaced. The second of the two WADE 4s consists of the team’s home colors white and black with a red and orange design appearing on the mid-sole. The first model was seen earlier today is scheduled to release later this month, but this limited edition WADE 4 is now available.

Coming off a Gold Medal win in this past Summer Olympics, Dwyane Wade is set to release his fourth sneaker, the Converse WADE 4 (IV). The sneakers are made up of the Heat’s away colors, a black leather upper with the white accents and red speckled design on the mid-sole. The more sleeker and bolder WADE 4 consists of thick lines stretching from the sides of the sneakers as well as a circular design overlapping horizontal lines. This WADE 4 will be hitting store shelves on October 31st retailing at $90.

With the 2008-2009 NBA season kicking off tomorrow, Converse and Dwyane Wade are launching the WADE 4 with the “Same Day, Same Story” commercial. The Converse WADE 4 (IV) makes an appearance near the end of the commercial showcasing its sleek silhouette and splatter mid-sole. One limited edition color-way has already released with another dropping on October 31st. As for the sneakers, they conform to Miami’s colors offering home and away styles.

While Vans pays homage to legendary rock group KISS, Converse has also made large strides to recognize influential people/groups in music including the Grateful Dead. The Grateful Dead was originally formed in 1965 and used several styles of music including rock, folk, bluegrass, reggae and many others. Converse takes note to their contributions and releases the All Star High dedicated to the group. The All Star High uses a subtle combination of a white base, black accents and large graphic of a female skeleton.
