In our last Celebrity Shoe Sightings, we showcased A-List celebrities such as Kanye West, Eric Dane, Hayden Christensen and Seth Rogan wearing New Balance shoes. This time around, we take a look at celebrities wearing various Converse sneakers.
My fiancé (Natalie Portman) is pictured here; sporting a pair of white Chuck Taylors. The next celeb found in the post is Adrian Grenier of HBO’s Entourage. Grenier was spotted in New York City, wearing the classic black/white Chuck Taylor. Following Grenier is Madonna who has always had a unique style. Madonna is pictured in a pair of the Chuck Taylor All Star High. Rihanna walks though LAX wearing some Chucks; followed by Jennifer Aniston and Ben Affleck wearing the Grey Converse All Star Slip-On and Black All-Star Slip-On, respectively.

Converse is scheduled to release their Addict Collection which is made up of high-end versions of the Chuck Taylor. The Addict Collection includes an assortment of premium materials applied to the three different styles including Outlast lining and Poron cushioning with Vibram outsoles. Releasing this Friday is a black leather model, the CT high and the canvas camouflage Chuck Taylor high. The prices will range anywhere from $169 for the canvas model to $243 for the black leather Chuck Taylor High. Release is reported for April 10th at select retailers.

Converse and UNDFTD had much success with the black colorway of their Poor Man’s Weapon collabo, and they’re back at it with an olive green colorway. The shoe gains it’s inspiration from those old bomber jackets that pilots wore, which is pretty interesting. UNDFTD’s logo is placed on the midsole, and these shoes also feature a removable Converse logo on the side. Get ready to pick these up on Armed Forces Day, which is May 16th, exclusively at UNDFTD for 92 bucks.

For its latest project, Converse has released the Converse All Star Diego Pack, which features three different colorways for All Star Hi’s and Low’s. The All Star’s come in black, red, and tan colorways, utilizing the canvas material throughout the shoe. The shoes are just like any other pair of GR chucks, except this time, the inner lining features a leaf and plant print and uses a contrasting color to give the shoe some added flavor. The black pair is offset by green, red by black, and tan by blue. The insole also features a special print along with the Converse text to commemorate the Diego pack. These All Star’s are available now for about $60.

New versions of the Converse All-Star have arrived in “The Land of the Rising Sun” complete with glossy synthetic uppers and a zipper closure system. The All Star Zip Pack is available in red/green, black/athletic gold, and athletic green/navy blue. Each shoe features the CT’s minimalistic upper, reinforced eyelets and zipper for some added flair. The Converse Japan All-Star Zip Pack is available now at select Converse accounts in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan.

Converse has already established their line of basketball sneakers created for their posterboy, Dwayne Wade, but recently other Converse athletes have been spotted wearing new styles like Kirk Hinrich of the Chicago Bull. Kirk is breaking out the Weapon Evo, a performance basketball shoe which was developed from the original Converse Weapon. This sneaker features the typical Bulls’ colors of red, white, and black and a nice addition of patent leather at the heel.  A closer look at the new Weapon Evo can be seen after the jump, as for the rest of the world, expect the sneaker to be available at retailers starting in August.

Next up for Converse’s spring 2009 line comes the Converse Jack Purcell Dirty Slip-On pack. The pack includes three Purcell Slip-On’s in lime green, black, and white. The lace-less slip-on features a “dirty” canvas upper print in the three aforementioned colors, and are contrasted by white/black midsoles and black soles with the trademark blue and red rubber panel. The Jack Purcell signature is stitched in black on the tongue and printed on the back heel. These Purcell’s definitely combine an easy fit and style for those days when you’re feelin’ dirty.
