Given that Asics is one of many proud sponsors of this year’s UK B-Boy Championships, it only made sense that Asics would release a special shoe for the sake of the infamous event. The limited edition UK B-Boy Championships x Asics GT-III is the result. The shoe features a main turquoise/black colorway, using black leather, mesh, and nubuck in various tones. From a speckled midsole to a pattern-embossed leather toe, this shoe is full of crazy details to accurately parallel the breakers’ and poppers’ moves that will be featured October 11th in the U.K. Release info will be announced later on, so sit tight!

Asics is chock full of ideas, which they in turn relay onto its shoes. The Asics Gel Lyte III is its latest victim, as it is released in a army-like olive/black/orange colorway. This dark tone shoe gives off a rugged vibe, especially with the crackled grey midsole, which is placed atop a dominantly black outsole with olive and orange accents. The black upper is executed in leather and mesh, along with olive suede and leather with orange outlining. The laces sport black and orange to nicely match the theme of the shoe, which is available now for about $123.

Once again, Onitsuka Tiger takes some classic flavor and puts a modern touch on it. The latest project is the Onitsuka Tiger Tsunahiki, which comes in a black/black colorway. The Tsunahiki combines black leather and nubuck on the upper to create a Chukka-style shoe with a moccasin feel. The black outsole was taken from Onitsuka’s Tug of War model from 1982.  Red accents are found on the tongue tag and stitching, which nicely adds some flavor to the dark shoe. Onistuka Tiger keeps bringing back that old heat, and this time, it’s from its old Himalayan collection. The Onitsuka Tiger Himalayan Deluxe comes in two clean colorways: black and olive. Both shoes use full premium leather uppers, making this a rugged hiking boot style with a sneaker sole.  Red contrasts the colorways, as it is placed on the insole, tongue tag, and outsole to give the shoe some flavor. “Himalayan Tiger” is placed on the side ankle to represent what the shoe is all about. Gettry is getting animated with the help of its sidekick Asics, as the duo has released the GETTRY x Asics Procourt AR Sidekick Pack. No doubt they got their influence from the infamous Batman and Robin duo, as the pack consists of the iconic colors of Batman and his faithful sidekick Robin. The Robin Procourt rocks a wonder red/knight black colorway, using a wonder red leather upper with black patent leather, and yellow midsole to go with the laces and ankle strap. The Batman Procourt sports a dark black/knight black colorway, using a black leather upper with black patent leather, yellow midsole, and yellow inner lining to offset the black ankle strap. Asics keeps it fresh with a zesty twist for its GT-II model. The Asics GT-II comes in a kiwi fruit colorway, to keep the silhouette ever so packed with new ideas. The shoe consists of a white leather upper with mesh panels on the toebox, tongue, and side panel. Red contrast stitching is placed on the side panel as well, along with kiwi accents on the heel above the black midsole and white outsole. Asics has been dropping new releases for its Gel Lyte force left and right, and it hasn’t forgotten about the ladies either. The Asics Gel Lyte III Women’s comes in a new lavender colorway. The shoe uses a silver mesh and navy leather upper, with the iconic lavender leather panels on the side. Lavender has also been added to the white midsole, which sits atop a blue and silver outsole. The tongue is also sported in lavender, as well as the stitching of the Gel Lyte logo on the side. This shoe will be available this November, so sit tight!
