New York-based boutique Alife recently consorted with Reebok to produce an elegant version of the brand’s Classic model. The Classic CL Lux sports an embossed leather upper that offers the “ALIFE” logo on the tongue tag and in cursive along the heel–and it’s tough to miss that speckled midsole! The collaboration will be released in black, grey, and white. Each shoe will come with two additional sets of laces that features a speckled design connecting to the midsole. Independent brand Alife recently released the latest version of their high-rising casual model, Everybody Mono Super in an understated all-black nubuck leather format. Putting a twist on their a previous collaboration, ALIFE and Barneys will be teaming up once again to present the Everybody Mid Patent Pack. This time around the two will release three styles of the Everybody Mid available in black, yellow and red patent leather. Each features an embossed “ALIFE” all over logo design with either black or white piping. In addition, a silhouette of the “Barneys’ man” can be found at the heel and sole. Alife’s Everbody model has proved to be a versatile silhouette even when compared to likes of Nike’s Dunk or Air Force 1. It may not be as successful as the two, but does show potential. However, the Seitan Pack may not be the strongest evidence for the claim, it offers a different look than most Alife models have featured. With most brands already releasing parts of their Winter collections, Alife has unleashed a wide variety of sneakers for the upcoming season. Out of all of Alife’s models, the Kennedy High represents Winter sneakers the best. This boot-like shoe is constructed out of premium black suede and a crepe sole. Alife branding also appears on the heel of the Kennedy High on the inside and tags attached to the sneaker. The Kennedy High is also available in brown and sand at select Alife retailers and mita.

This past Fall season Alife released the Shelltoe in a few colors and have expanded it to black, white and teal. Each sneaker consists of a rubber toebox and suede upper. An Alife patch is stitched at the back heels in their old english ilke font adding a nice subtle addition. FLAUGE has all three colors available, but other select Alife retailers should be getting these soon.
