After seeing a preview of the Alife Shell Toe Hi-Lite in the Alife Fall 2009 Collection, we have another couple colorways for the classic-inspired sneaker. This model takes influence from the adidas shell toe, and resembles the ankle stitching of the Vans Sk8-Hi. Black/green and grey/pink colorways have been released on full leather and rubber uppers. The black pair features a grey Alife logo on the side heel, whereas the other pair has a pink logo. Alife also makes its mark on the back of the midsole as well as on the tongue.

The latest from Alife has begun to hit retailers with the release of the first wave of their Fall 2009 Collection. Featuring an assortment of their most popular models, the NYC based streetwear company has toned down their bold use of color for a look more suited to the cooler autumn weather. The use of premium leathers and vivid accent colors has come to be expected from the popular sneaker producer, but several of these new models feature suede tongues, providing an interesting contrast to their respective leather uppers. The first pieces from the collection are available now from Tobi. Be on the look out for more to come in the next couple of weeks.

At 2 P.M. Saturday, August 1st, A.R.C., or better known as the Alife Rivington Club will release their latest collaboration, the A.R.C. x Nike Dunk High Supreme TZ. As stated by A.R.C., “In contrast to the previous collaborative release between Alife Rivington Club and Nike—the all white A.R.C. AF1—this A.R.C. Nike Dunk High features an all black upper adorned by a white Swoosh and a white A.R.C. seal on the heel. As with the AF1, the upper sits on a tonal midsole and gum colored outsole. Hidden within the shoe’s simple and classic upper design are technical features that enhance its functionality, most notably in the use of Schoeller technical fabrics and 0.44 sticky rubber outsole.” The shoe will retail for $158.00 USD and the first 100 customers will receive a complimentary “Black, White, Gum & Bang” T-shirt. If this isn’t enough, A.R.C. will have turntablist and scratch champion DJ Craze spinning in A.R.C.’s courtyard between 3-6P.M. for those who purchase the shoes.

New York’s Alife Rivington Club teamed up with Asics to rework two new pairs of classic joggers for the summer season. Heavy splashes of mesh are offset by smooth suede accents. ARC’s classic logo is stitched onto each model’s middle panel, located right behind Asics’ signature stripes. Preliminary color schemes include white/rosemary/pine green and cream/rosemary/navy/gold. As the release date nears, we’ll key you in on the Summer ‘09 Asics x Alife Rivington collaboration.

The Alife Cup Court is a simple lowtop shoe that resembles the adidas Stan Smith, but with a little more flavor, Alife style. The Alife Cup Court Zebra Court consists of three shoes which feature an allover zebra print upper in green, red, and purple. Each shoe has a white midsole and “ALIFE” is perforated on the side panel. The name is also printed on the tongue, and the back heel panel is left blank. Each shoe is available overseas for about $217 each.

Alife’s most popular model, the Everybody Mid, is back in a new polka dot colorway. The upper is 100% black nylon, while having a yellow tongue tag. Polka dots flow all over the shoelaces, as well as the midsole. If you look even further, the insoles are even covered with polka dots. These dots seem like they’re the next big deal, because even Jordan Brand has finished up some of their sneakers in a similar design. One of the oldest brands in the sneaker world, Fila, teams up with streetwear powerhouse, A.R.C., for a new collaboration coming in June. Not releasing much info about the sneakers, Alife Rivington Club only kicks out one photo showing minimal features of the collabo. There are three colorways, and they all look interesting from what we can see. Mesh on the upper, along with some nice leather, should lead to a very clean sneaker. That’s all we can say for now, but be sure to keep checking in for more information.
