Air Jordan Sixty Plus (60+) - Boston Celtics

After the Atlanta Hawks got some Air Jordan Sixty Plus love for themselves, it’s time for another team from the Eastern Conference to get their hands on the Sixty Plus. The Air Jordan Sixty Plus (60+) comes in a Boston Celtics home colorway of white/classic green-black, utilizing a white leather upper and black midsole to contrast the clear/green V outsole. The speckled parts of the midsole nicely accentuate the black and the green accents are sure to entice any 2008 Champs-fan. The tongue also features a nice mix of the main colors to finish off this strictly Celts’ colorway. It’s available now in a full size run for $135. You can also check some better pictures on Dunk.

LebronVII

Initially, Nike had set an October 24th general release date for the Air Max Lebron VII’s. And while they DID receive a momentary release date change, they are now BACK on the October 24th release schedule. That means that this Saturday- for those of you who haven’t already pre-ordered/purchased early- you can be sure to find these at all House of Hoops locations and FootLockers, as well as other participating Nike retailers.

Interestingly enough, there is also word of a release date change to the pair of “Rising Sun” Air Jordan XII’s also set to release this coming Saturday. A rumored release month change to November would be utterly mind-boggling, considering the fact that many stores have already begun to make these available for pre-order and sale. If any more changes do come, we’ll be sure to report them to you as quickly as possible- we know that funds need to be appropriately allocated and that date changes can make that a bit more difficult.

The House of Hoops phenomenon is hitting not only statewide, but also worldwide. Recently, we brought you word that yet another stateside House of Hoops location was opening up- this time in Houston, Texas. Nike, of course, had a couple of goodies prepared for this event- among which was a pair of Nike Houston Hyperize’s. But, it appears as though the surprises did not end there. During the opening, a pair of Air Jordan I High’s and Air Jordan Fusion IV’s in a white patent leather-red/navy blue colorway were on display. Furthermore, the pairs of shoes also boasted speckled blue midsoles- for added flavor. These have been seen only during the Houston’s House of Hoops’ opening, with no word yet- either positive or negative- on a general release. If any information comes up, rest assured we’ll deliver it to you. For now, enjoy the pix after the jump.

2010AJII1

Earlier this year, a lot of sneaker- and jordanheads got really excited upon getting word of a possible Slam Dunk Package from Jordan Brand, which could include white/cement grey III’s and white/red/black II’s. The AJ II got even more love when we showed you a preview picture of the Air Jordan 2010, in which an AJII can be spotted in the background.

Now, we bring you a look at another Air Jordan II retro reportedly releasing at some time in 2010. This pair comes in a predominantly white upper with silver/grey accents most notably on the toe box and heel of the shoe. And as a result of the silver/grey materials used, depending on how the light hits your shoe, you could or could not get the same reflective look as seen on certain AJV’s, for example. What do you guys think? Is this a nice look for the AJII? Who’s buying these? Check out more pix after the jump.

Air Jordan XXI (21) Red Suede Prototype

Our friends over at Counter Kicks recently displayed this red suede Prototype of the Air Jordan XXI (21). The shoe’s buttery suede upper is complimented by an interesting ventilation apparatus that’s stitched into the XXI’s lateral side. If you hit the jump, you’ll note that the shoe was nicknamed the Jordan ELV8 — presumably to obscure or downplay the importance of the shoe before it hit retail. How do you feel this Prototype version of the XXI compares to the release version?

Air Jordan Six Rings - Jordan Motorsports

To celebrate the sixth anniversary of Jordan Motorsports, Jordan Brand released a celebratory Air Jordan Six Rings in an exclusive Jordan Motorsports colorway to match the Jordan Motorsports Air Jordan VI. The Air Jordan Six Rings comes complete with a white leather upper and black Air Jordan XIII sole. The tongue features the “23″ and Jordan logos, along with “two 3″ stitched vertically to do it like the Air Jordan XII. Black laceholders match the black laces, and black is also placed on the Air Jordan VI style logo at the back heel. The key characteristic is the cement print inner lining, making this shoe stand out on the racetrack. Not a bad design for the number-inspired hybrid.
