It all started with my favorite colorway of the Air Jordan 5- Laney High School -but the 60+ is by no means done. On November 7, 2009, two more AJ 60+’s are slated to release. Both come in a predominantly white upper with icy & speckled soles. One pair has navy blue and orange, while the other pair sports a black & green color combination. What do you sneakerheads think about the additions to the Air Jordan 60+ collection?

2009 has seen a plethora of Air Jordan retro releases, but perhaps no single Jordan has been in more production/demand than the Air Jordan 1. Pictured here is a high-top Air Jordan 1 Retro Phat Premier with a very stylish execution. The shoe’s upper consists of a black leather base and sits atop a completely white midsole. Varsity red accents exist on the top of the tongue, shoe laces, patented Nike swoosh, and the entire outsole. For added flavor, varsity maize/yellow stitching runs through the entire shoe as well- starting at the tongue and moving then to the heel and through both the mid-panel and toe box. Sure to attract many Jordan fans, this pair of AJ I’s is available EARLY from trusted retailer UptempoAir at retail price and in BOTH adult and kid sizes. Head over to UTA’s online shop ASAP, or it might be too late to be one of the few to rock these before others can even purchase them.

Rumors had been floating around for months that a retro version of the legendary Air Jordan 1 KO model might be making it way into stores sometime next year. Although suspicions were confirmed with the Jordan Brand 2010 catalogue leak, the news finally has some visual support, as images of two retro colorways of the sneaker have hit the net. Known for its rarity and canvas upper, the AJKO has become something of legend amongst Jordan fans — many of whom will jump at the chance to get their hands on a pair of the previously unobtainable kicks. Said to release next summer, the model is expected to sport a price tag of $125.

It was not too long ago that we brought you a list of Air Jordan shoes scheduled to drop in 2010. We now have a catalog scan of the popular Air Jordan IX colorway mentioned in that post and rumored to retro for the first time next year. The Powder Blue Air Jordan IX, for those of you who can and can’t recall, come in a predominantly white base with powder blue accents most notably on the shoe’s sole and a black tongue. Should this colorway actually drop, it is sure to cause an uproar among Jordanheads. As of now, rumor has it that if they come out it’ll be during the summer time. I, for one, am keeping everything crossed! What about you?

Jordan Brand
continues with their streak of Air Jordan fusion models, this time placing the Air Jordan X upper atop the Air Force 1 sole. Many AJ fans aren’t happy with a lot of the recent synthesis models, but this combination could be a step in the right direction, the AJX upper providing for a much simpler silhouette than that of the debatably clashing Air Jordan VIII Fusion model. Rumor has it that this latest hybrid is to reach storefronts by 2010, but we’ll wait and see whether the model gets there at all.

Air Jordan Hallowed Ground - Black / Grey / White

After seeing the Air Jordan Hallowed Ground for Oak Hill Academy, another one has popped up! The Air Jordan Hallowed Ground comes in a clean black/grey/white colorway. This Jordan X-inspired shoe uses a shades of grey nubuck on the upper, with black nubuck at the bottom to complete the gradient style design. The upper sits on a black Zoom midsole, which rests on a sweet white outsole. A modern Jordan logo is placed on the tongue to mark the era of non-numbered jays. These are available now online overseas for a price of $100.

Air Jordan XI (11) Low - Black / Red Sample

Now I know what you’re thinking: “FAKE!” But no. These Air Jordan XI’s are in fact real samples. The Air Jordan XI (11) Low comes in a black/red (bred) colorway, which is owned by Ceola Clark, a friend of Jeffrey Jordan, MJ’s son. These jays were given to Ceola from Jeff and Michael as a gift. Yes, be jealous, because this sort of stuff actually happens. The Lows follow the bred design just like its retailed predecessor, with a black patent leather and mesh upper, red inner lining, white midsole, and red translucent outsole. If you absolutely need to get your hands on these babies, then go find Ceola at Western Illinois University, where you can challenge him to 1-on-1 for them. Check out the video of Ceola, as he is interviewed by the Chicago Tribune, as part of the dedicated editorial for Hall-of-Famer MJ.
