Well it’s no surprise when we see a celebrity rocking a pair of the newly released 2009 Space Jam Air Jordan XIs. While on the set of rapper Shawty Lo’s music video shoot for his single, “Atlanta, GA,” which features Dream and Ludacris, The Dream thought it would fit nicely to have the Jams along with his black ATL fitted and jacket. Now we know for sure that the Space Jams will be immortalized in Shawty Lo’s video, as if it weren’t already immortalized in our hearts. Just before the new year we stumbled upon a black/university blue colorway of the Air Jordan 2010 that definitely changed how certain Jordanheads felt about the new silhouette. Readers were saying that the colorway accentuates perfectly the better parts of the Air Jordan 2010 model. 2010 is shaping up to be a HUGE year for Jordan Brand- even despite the Silver Anniversary collection or any crazy Air Jordan XI news. Recently, the Air Jordan Icons and Air Jordan IX have excited Jordanheads and got them looking forward to more. Now there’s more: a sneak peek of the Air Jordan Accolades silhouette has surfaced on the internet. As Air Jordan fans will be able to tell, the Air Jordan Accolades’ sole draws inspiration from that of the Air Jordan X. Recently we felt the wrath of the Silver Anniversary Collection rumors once more, with pictures of the corresponding Air Jordan IX. However, while those might not necessarily release to the general public, word is that three pairs of the Air Jordan IX ARE already scheduled for a 2010 release. The first one will come in a “citrus” colorway, but only by way of a few accents- as this pair comes in predominantly black and white. The following two pairs will be the more famous black/white-red and “charcoal” pairs. The three are scheduled to release in that order; in July, August, and September, respectively. Jordan Brand is good about feeding off the success of past releases (when it wants to be). To that extent, it seems as though they’ll choose to follow-up the Air Jordan XI “Space Jams” frenzy with a pair in white/ice blue, which we already showed you. But, people love knowing exactly what they’re getting into before even getting exciting. Therefore, SneakerFiles is obliged to pass along these new pictures that have surfaced on the internet in case they make you realize something new or look at some aspect of the shoe differently.
