Air Jordan Hallowed Ground - Black / Grey / White

After seeing the Air Jordan Hallowed Ground for Oak Hill Academy, another one has popped up! The Air Jordan Hallowed Ground comes in a clean black/grey/white colorway. This Jordan X-inspired shoe uses a shades of grey nubuck on the upper, with black nubuck at the bottom to complete the gradient style design. The upper sits on a black Zoom midsole, which rests on a sweet white outsole. A modern Jordan logo is placed on the tongue to mark the era of non-numbered jays. These are available now online overseas for a price of $100.

Air Jordan XI (11) Low - Black / Red Sample

Now I know what you’re thinking: “FAKE!” But no. These Air Jordan XI’s are in fact real samples. The Air Jordan XI (11) Low comes in a black/red (bred) colorway, which is owned by Ceola Clark, a friend of Jeffrey Jordan, MJ’s son. These jays were given to Ceola from Jeff and Michael as a gift. Yes, be jealous, because this sort of stuff actually happens. The Lows follow the bred design just like its retailed predecessor, with a black patent leather and mesh upper, red inner lining, white midsole, and red translucent outsole. If you absolutely need to get your hands on these babies, then go find Ceola at Western Illinois University, where you can challenge him to 1-on-1 for them. Check out the video of Ceola, as he is interviewed by the Chicago Tribune, as part of the dedicated editorial for Hall-of-Famer MJ.

Air Jordan 60+ - Atlanta Hawks

Jordan Brand has released another pair of jays dedicated to the Atlanta Hawks. Although the Air Jordan 60+ Atlanta Hawks doesn’t follow the same colorway as the Jordan I’s, it has its own style to bring to the table. The AJ Sixty Plus uses a full black suede upper with yellow contrast stitching to match the outsole, which features a fresh clear V panel. The black midsole rocks a speckled red V panel to match the red/yellow tongue. The heel panel which sports the “23″ logo uses black patent leather to change things up. This shoe will be available in late October at a price tag of $150.

Last week we received word that a super clean colorway of the Air Jordan Hallowed Ground was releasing soon as a Rip Hamilton PE. We now have word that another Air Jordan Hallowed Ground will be arriving at House of Hoops locations nationwide- the Oak Hill Academy version. Of course, we all know that Team JB member Carmelo Anthony played high school ball at the phenomenal Virginia school. This pair of Hallowed Ground’s come in a predominantly black upper with red stitching and the patented yellow “OAK HILL” stitched on the tongue. There’s even an Oak Hill warrior mascot on the inside of the shoe dribbling a basketball. Both this pair and the Rip PE’s drop at House of Hoops in November.

Jordan Brand hopes to carry the momentum from what is shaping up to be a ridiculously hectic end to 2009 year 2010. Something sure to be completely new, however, will be the Air Jordan 2010. Pictured here is supposedly a sneek peak of that very sneaker, but little else is known about the date of release or retail price, for example. As we all know, samples often times change between the time we first set eyes on them and their official release. Regardless of what these changes might be, or what news unfolds regarding the shoe pictured here, rest assured SneakerFiles will have all of it covered for you.

Air Jordan I (1) Retro - Leroy Smith

Jordan Brand has thought of the perfect way for us to stay “MOTIVIZED!” as Leroy Smith would say, by putting into production the Air Jordan I (1) Retro Leroy Smith. I mean, the man did motivate his Airness to become who he is today, so the least JB could do is give him a commemorative shoe. The Leroy Smiths feature a black leather base to go along with the black midsole, which rests atop a gumsole. The upper features colors of red, purple, and gold, to go along with the 80’s style of Leroy. The Leroy logo replaces the AJ symbol on the tongue tag to let ‘em know who’s boss. Stay tuned for more info on this historic shoe.

Last summer, a major part of the Olympic celebration was the new Air Jordan “Olympian.” This year we saw the release of the Air Jordan Hallowed Ground, which quite evidently borrows a lot of the same cues- including the heel strap and AJ X outsole. In November, House of Hoops nationwide will be releasing a Rip Hamilton PE of the Air Jordan Hallowed Ground in a predominantly white upper with blue and red Detroit Pistons accents. Like all of the UCONN star’s PE’s, this one will read “Rip City” across the top of the tongue. With a very nice execution of colors, don’t be surprised if this team Jordan shoe is on a lot of people’s feet come November and later.
