Capping off a trio of Jordan Brand 2012 NBA All-Star Game releases is the Melo M8.

The most intriguing look of the bunch, the kicks feature royal blue Flywire paneling alongside white patent leather and hits of navy on the midsole, tongue and collar. Most significantly, the shoe features navy blue elephant print leather along the eyestay and wrapping around the collar to the heel.

Set to be laced up by Melo himself on February 26, you can cop your own pair with the CP3.V and Fly Wade 2 on February 23.

Following Nike Basketball’s official unveiling of their All-Star kicks for 2012, Jordan Brand has released a look at their upcoming drops for the game in Orlando.

Comprised of the Fly Wade 2, CP3.V and Melo M8, the kicks don the traditional red, white and blue to match the All-Star jerseys. Wade and Melo see their kicks done up in blue for the Eastern Conference while the CP3.V is decked out in red for the Western Conference All-Stars.

Dropping this March, Jordan Brand has finally released official images of the upcoming “Syracuse” Melo M8.

Sporting the usual orange look, these are decked out in an orange Flywire upper alongside an orange leather eyestay, white patent leather toebox and midfoot and additional white and blue accents throughout.

With an official colorway of white/midnight navy-orange blaze, look for the “Syracuse” Melo M8 to drop next month for $135.

Some of us really can’t get enough of a good thing. In some instances, that means we love seeing proven colorways such as the “black cement grey” one administered to other sneaker designs. That said, here is a look at this Jordan Melo M8 that draws inspiration from the Air Jordan retro III in said popular colorway. This colorway comes in a predominantly black leather and patent leather upper with white soles and a little bit of black cement print along the ankle collar. Carmelo Anthony burst onto the scene in the 2002-2003 college basketball season, leading Syracuse to the National Championship after averaging 22.1 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. After being named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player and a Second Team All-American Melo declared himself eligible for the 2003 NBA Draft, where he was chosen 3rd overall by the Denver Nuggets.

This “Syracuse” Melo M8 is a tribute to Anthony’s accomplishments while a member of the Orange. With an orange Flywire and white patent leather upper alongside navy accents, these would be a perfect fit in Madison Square Garden, too.

Dedicated to Carmelo’s alma mater, who he led to a National Championship in 2003, the White/Midnight Navy-Orange Blaze kicks sport orange leather and Flywire on the upper alongside white patent leather and navy branding.
