In the first week of November, we showed you anadidas Superstar II that pays homage to Wu Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah. Now, the same brand is extending its acknowledgement of the accomplished lyricists’ career to the Stan Smith. This pair’s upper comes in suede grey with matching shoe laces. Moreover, the heel and ankle are done up in yellow and red, much like the midsole and outsole are. The rapper’s “G” logo is covertly printed on the heel, while a depiction of him can be seen on the upper tongue. These are actually available now through select adidas retailers.

As many brands, and adidas itself, have already done, sneaker silhouettes are being designed to help those living in frigid winter weather areas. The winterized boot pictured here draws inspiration from the original adidas Marathon Trainer. The adidas Originals by Originals crew teamed up with soccer superstar David Beckham and UNDFTD co-owner James Bond with the result being this mid-top Marathon in a predominantly black colorway with royal blue accents on the top of the tongue and in the form of accompanying shoe laces, of which there are three sets. And, as we’ve seen on adidas sneakers and boots prior to this, this Marathon mid comes equipped with Gore-Tex material to keep moisture and cold out, while maintaining your feet warm and firmly on the ground vis-a-vis the rugged outsole. We first previewed the Pochoir x Adidas Superstar 80 in the first look at Adidas’s Five Two-3 City Artist Collection. Now, the Pochoir x Adidas Superstar 80 makes a retail release. The Superstar 80 was designed by London’s very own street artist, Pochoir. The upper consists of grey 3m  and leather, contrasted by blue accents at the heel, tongue, lacetips, and lace plate. Pochoir makes his name known at the heel logo, while making it stylish. These Superstars are available now for $125 at retailers such as Wish ATL.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a shoe dedicated to Adidas’ 60 Years of Soles and Stripes. That’s not an issue now, as Adidas released the Adidas Top Ten Hi in a 60 Years edition. The Top Ten Hi features an allover stripe pattern, from the laces to the midsole. Following a white base with grey, blue, and red stripes, the shoe sports the “60 Years” logo on the tongue in gold. The vibrant upper is contrasted by a blue outsole, making this a celebratory shoe that stands out. These are available now for about $165 on Schuh-You.

We all heard about Marcus Jordan and University of Central Florida’s predicament with Adidas, regarding UCF’s six year $3 million contract. If you haven’t, Marcus Jordan refuses to wear Adidas basketball shoes, which is required in the contract for each player of the UCF basketball team, opting to represent his father’s brand, Air Jordan. This led to negotiations between UCF and Adidas to allow Marcus Jordan to get what he wants, while still keeping the contract which funds UCF basketball as well as player scholarships. As a result, despite any clear decision, Marcus Jordan rocked the Rising Sun Air Jordan XII’s, along with Adidas ankle guards for UCF’s first game of the season against St. Leo. This sparked Adidas to retract their contract with UCF, for failure to keep to the dress code. UCF is making an effort to regain their Adidas contract; more updates to come soon.Via USA Today.

We kicked off November, partially, by bringing you a closer look at the adidas Five Two-3 Plant Pack. Now, we have another collection from the adidas Five Two-3 campaign known as the “City Artist” collection because a specific artist was chosen to represent their city through the designing of an adidas shoe. Dalek is representing NYC with a pair of Forum mids, London’s Pochoir worked on the Superstar, and France’s KRSN applied his style onto the Stan Smith. Finally, Madsaki represents for Osaka, Japan through the Samba and Fasko does it through the Nizza high. Certain retailers already have all five of these sneakers in stock, so check out pix of the rest of the collection after the jump before deciding whether or not to try and purchase one or all of them.
