It’s been a while since we last heard of the adidas Nizza. But it’s come back in full effect with the adidas Nizza Consortium Stripe Pack. The pack consists of the adidas Nizza Hi and Low in blue and grey, respectively. The Hi features a blue stripe leather upper and white midsole to match the white stripes. The Low rocks a grey upper with yellow stripes to offset the white midsole. These are some pretty clean shoes that only helps make adidas a household name.

We all know about LBJ’s sponsorship with Nike, but what we forgot about was his alma mater’s sponsorship with Adidas. When LeBron played for St. Mary’s St. Vincent’s, he had his own Adidas A3 Dunkfest LBJ Player Exclusive in the team’s green, gold, and white colorway. The shoe has a white leathe rupper and green heel panel to go along with the white/gold/green midsole. This shoe definitely brings back memories of his younger days, and how Nike always gets the great players to sponsor in the end.

adidas just released the Doley, a vulcanized hybrid shoe that matches up perfectly with the summertime sun. The shoe features a canvas upper and vulcanized midsole, and is slated to release in two color schemes: black/blue and red/blue/white. The former features an intriguing split pattern; the lateral side is patterned, while the medial is plain navy. The latter features a psychedelic circular pattern on both sides of the middle pattern. The adidas Doley is available overseas at retailers like Flauge.

London fashion brand maharishi partnered up with adidas to create a limited version of the Stan Smith that’s scheduled to hit retail this Fall. The shoe offers a denim-colored fabric color with navy blue and white accents. maharishi’s emblems are stitched onto the tennis shoe’s tongue and heel. White shoe laces and multicolored accents provide visual pop, creating a shoe that’s subtle and perfect for casual dress. The maharishi x adidas Stan Smith will be available later in the ‘09. The folks over at adidas recently teamed up with Solebox and Hypebeast to create two new colorways of the Zeitfrei, an all-new cycling-inspired sneaker. The first colorway, created by Solebox, features a black perforated suede upper with red accents and a white vulcanized sole, while the pair designed by Hypebeast hosts a grey suede upper with yellow and white accents. Each sneaker yields the name of the collaborator on the front of the tongue and a laser-etched number on the inner tongue to denote the shoe’s particular place among the 100 total pairs produced. The Solebox x adidas Zeitfrei will release on May 23, while the Hypebeast pair will drop on May 29. Only 50 pairs of each colorway will be available for retail while another 50 pairs will be sent to friends and family.

Last summer, the adidas Consortium division hooked up with several boutiques and retailers through their AZX Project. The large-scale collaboration promised one winner a chance to design their own pair of Adi Originals. The unknown winner of the competition, selected the ZX700 as a template, and created a shoe brimming with details. The model’s white upper is accented by orange shoe laces and features silhouettes of famous skylines and architecture from European cities rising up from the black midsole. The adidas Consortium AZX ZX700Y is available now at select accounts worldwide.

Although we might be preparing for the summer heat, adidas has been thinking differently by releasing the adidas Wool Pack. The Wool Pack consists of three of its models: the Superstar, Samba, and Forum Mid. All three shoes use a wool material upper to keep your feet warm. The Superstar has a speckled white sole and gum sole, and the other shoes have white midsoles to match their white leather panels. The blue and red gradient straps on the Forum Mid give this pack some retro flair. These are great releases so be on the lookout.
