adidas recently teamed up with the folks at XLarge, a Los Angeles based clothing store, to create this new colorway of the Originals Superstar. This pair hosts a multicolored upper composed of a purple snakeskin rear, a green snakeskin frontal panel, a cream mid-sole, and a cream toe box. The most interesting aspects of this sneaker are definitely the laces which have “XLarge Getting No Respect Since ‘91″ printed onto them. The XLarge x adidas Originals Superstar is expected to release in the Fall of 2009, so be sure to stay tuned for updates.

Thanks to their official licensing deal with the NBA, adidas will be back with their “NBA Series” this Fall. The ‘85-’86 adidas Centennial hightop is the subject of the line. The New York Knicks version features the Knickerbockers logo on the tongue and an orange suede upper with varsity blue accents. The adidas Centennial NBA Series will be available at select Three Stripes accounts this Fall.

The adidas Conductor in white/orange/varsity blue is an ode to Patrick Ewing’s days with the New York Knicks. Released in the mid-’80s, the Conductor features three prominent midfoot Stripes and a ribbed ankle collar. The adidas “Trefoil” logo is emblazoned on the shoe’s heel. adidas’ Originals collection with Japanese Kazuki continues into the Fall with new pairs of the adidas Superstar. Christened the Superstar ’80s Whiz, the lowtop Shelltoe features cotton inner lining and a creamy white midsole and toebox. Kazuki’s logo marks up the heel and tongue. The upper is comprised of some obscure cotton/suede material, and will be available this coming August at select accounts worldwide in burgundy and black.

When you see the name Adidas paired with the word Originals, you know something good is about to make a return. This time, the Adidas Originals TRX Runner is coming back in two colorways: blue/yellow and white/blue. These two Runners use synthetic uppers in their respective colorways, along with suede panels to contrast the material. The tongue uses light material and a unique design along with cushioned midsoles and black outsoles. These babies will be released this July.

The Adidas Superstar is a staple shoe of the 20th century, so it’s nice to see the classic shoe revamped to  our modern taste. The Adidas Canvas Superstar comes in a navy/red/white colorway, with a canvas upper and leather  shell toe instead of the typical rubber one. The shoe is offset by a white tre-foil and midsole. The shoes come with regular navy laces and these colorful white laces pictured here. On the inner lining, the Adidas logo is printed along with the text “loi fanles” printed over it in red. This shoe is part of Adidas’s Spring 09 releases which means it’ll be out soon.
