Adidas loves celebrating with shoes, and this time around, the Adidas Top Ten Hi model gets some love. It’s been thirty years since the Top Ten model was released, which is why the Adidas Top Ten Hi has released in a white pearl/silver colorway. This clean shoe has a white leather base with some white patent leather accents. It also features a basketball material panel on the toe and ankle to let people know what the shoe was made for. Lastly, “1979″ and “2009″ are found at the back ankle along with a “30″ emblem on the back heel. These are available now for $85.

Though the adidas Nizza High is not one of adidas’ more popular silhouettes, these two colorways might make some sneakerheads change their opinion on the high-top sneaker. When it comes to being unique, nothing compares with the Jeremy Scott x adidas collection. Key releases such as the JS Logo and the JS Wings resulted from adidas’ latest collaboration with independent artist Jeremy Scott, and we now have a look at the 3 Tongue Altitude. This pair hosts a yellow upper with black and white accents, but the most interesting aspect of this sneaker is definitely the fact that there are three tongues rather of one. Though there is no real use of having three tongues, it definitely makes the sneaker aesthetically unique. The Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals – 3 Tongue Altitude is expected to release in August 2009.

Though Nike’s SB line is far more popular than adidas Skateboarding, the “Three Stripes” will be releasing four quality models this summer. As part of their Summer ‘09 collection, adidas will be dropping one colorway of the Busenitz, two pairs of the Ciero, and one style of the Campus. The Busenitz features a black/gold colorway, while the Ciero comes in gold/navy and grey/white, and the Campus is featured in blue/white. All four sneakers host suede on the upper and a white mid-sole. Be on the lookout for all four models this summer.

The Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) “Philly” borrows from Kobe’s birthplace – Philadelphia. The shoe features a patriotic blue/red/white upper with splashes of patent leather and Flywire. The shoe’s ankle collar is finished off by a reflective star pattern. Details include “8-23-78″ (KB’s date of birth) stamped onto the sockliner and “23″ burned on the heel. A release date for the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) “Philly” has not been confirmed, but you can expect them to hit retailers in limited numbers on or near Bryant’s birthday.

Game 1 of the 2009 NBA Finals was quite anticlimactic with the Los Angeles Lakers winning by 25 points; however, Game 2 proved to be a completely different story. The Orlando Magic rookie, Courtney Lee, missed an alley-oop attempt with 0.6 seconds left in regulation, sending the game into overtime. There, Kobe Bryant and company took over, and ended up winning Game 2 with a final score of 101-96. Though the game progressed at a relatively slow speed, it was nonetheless a great show of basketball talent and fancy footwear.
