To commemorate the 25th year anniversary of the New Balance MRL 996, New Balance rendered Beauty & Youth this special edition shoe.
Along with three other fashion companies in Japan, Beauty & Youth adds their own touch to this classic runner by incorporating vivid orange suede materials on the upper, adding in white and grey accents throughout, and also making use of a custom insole that displays a collage of images that correlate with the brand’s heritage.
