After a long cold night, and the anticipation at its peak, my friends and I wait at a certain Athletes Foot located in Sacramento California for the Air Jordan Retro 5 Fire Red Release. By 4:00 a.m. the line was about 30 people deep, and the cold weather was not helping, but the occasional hot chocolate would hit the spot. At 8:30 the store manager and employees arrived, and to my surprise more people got a pair than I expected. Yes, this pair is a general release, but this Athletes Foot is not known for getting a lot of pairs. My friends and I all got our size (being about 4th,5th,6th in line), so I can easily say mission complete.
Point Is – Most of us can get pairs of the Air Jordan V on Ebay, or other buy/sell threads online, but there is a lot of fun getting out there and talking with others that have the same hobbies as you. But, if the only way you can get a pair is by Ebay, online stores, or buy/sell threads then that is ok. All in all camping out is not for everyone, but it is a good experience, and everyone should honestly try it once, it makes you appreciate the shoes a lot more.
