The Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher will release this year which will be apart of the 2016 Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection.
Each year, Nike connects with Doernbecher Children’s Hospital to release a collection of footwear and apparel with proceeds going to the hospital. As well, Damien Phillips will design the Air Jordan 7.
Damien Phillips has designed the Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher which is inspired by guitars and his love for the Chicago Bulls.
Using a Red and Black theme, which is for the Bulls, you will also see references to guitars like a guitar pick on the laces and a guitar neck on the heel. On the translucent sole, you will see Damien playing a power solo. Finishing the look is minor Metallic Gold accents, wood-like finish on the base and a unique graphic on the overlay.
Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher Release Date
The Doernbecher Air Jordan 7 will release on December 17th, 2016. Retail price is set at $190. The unveiling of the entire Doernbecher Nike Freestyle Collection has taken place on October 28th.

Update: Just before the release, Official images of the Doernbecher Air Jordan 7 has leaked.
Update: The Air Jordan 7 ‘Doernbecher’ designed by Damien Phillips, age 10, will release on December 17th, 2016. Retail price will be $190. Along with the sneakers, a matching zip-up hoody and hat will also debut.

IT SURPRISED ME THAT I GOT SUCH AN AMAZING TEAM AND HAD SO MANY OPTIONS FOR A SHOE. MY FAVORITE PART OF THE SHOE-MAKING PROCESS WAS CHOOSING THE MATERIAL. Update: Teaser images have leaked of the Doernbecher Air Jordan 7 designed by Damien Phillips thanks to retros_77 and zsneakerheadz. It appears that they will come in a Black and Red theme while being inspired by his love of playing guitars. The translucent outsole showcases a cartoon illustration of Phillips playing a guitar while ‘SUPER’ and ‘EXPLOSIVE’ is written.
