AJ2010
At the end of last month, we encountered what seemed to be a cellular phone picture taken of what is reportedly the Air Jordan 2010. Many of you had much more to say about/hope for the pair of Air Jordan II’s spotted in the background of that image and reportedly a part of a 2010 Slam Dunk pack that could also be including a pair of white/cement grey III’s . That could’ve been because of fans’ yearning for another retro AJ II release or because of the quality of the picture. Regardless, there has now surfaced a clearer and FULL preview of the Air Jordan 2010 expected to release next year- as its name suggests. Any new thoughts on these?

  3. When you water your brand down to the extent Jordan has, you get "signature" shoes like this that don't seem to stand out at all.

    First incredibly boring Melo M6, and now this.

  6. I think these look like a top notch basketball shoe. That is what they are suppose to be. I don't know what you people are hoping for…. Do you think that a basketball shoe is suppose to tell you the meaning of life? You all are a bunch of bitches!!!!

  7. is it me or they tryna prove a point that jordan can sell anything frrom cheap azz materials to a simple lookin azz shoe?! 4 this shoe 2 look like that, it better perform way f*ckin better than wat it looks. If u dont like it or not, its gonna sell.

  8. well to me they look like soldier 2s, but if they perform and are comfy then i would wear them, most basketball shoes arnt made to wear with jeans nowadays thats what retros are for, look at the kobe 3s, ugliest shoe ever made and still big sales because it performed well, these shoes are better looking than most kicks out there in the market for bball and wont look bad with shorts and a jeresy, but with jeans thats very questionable

    The Jumpman is too big, it looks all wrong, and they don't look special. The 2009s look better than these. JB has gotta to be running out of ideas now. Every year they have to top last years Jordan shoe, and that's hard to do! I need more pics for now, before I say more…

  10. The 23's were the last decent shoe Jordan Brand made. The 2K9's and these are both subpar. Performance-wise, these look ok for playing basketball. I just hope that the soles of the 2010 are better and more flexible than those of the 2K9's.

    I just don't know if there is a way that Jordan Brand can save itself. It used to produce the most prestigious, coveted sneakers in the industry and now has deteriorated to making Reeboks then slappin the Jumpman on it. It's ridiculous. Everytime there is an article here that announces a new Jordan release everyone always tears the shoe apart.

    Maybe these will look better with other colorways. I don't know. But my first impression of these is already better than my first impression of the 2K9's.

  18. @jumpoldman36 I agree completely. The 2K9 looks way better than these by comparison and I never thought I would say something like that. I'm shocked to see that the Lebron VII's look a helluva lot better than these. So, I guess I'll be purchasing some Dunkmans instead of Jumpmans at least until these hit the bargain bin next to the 2K9's. And don't get me started on the overpriced HOF 2K9's. U would think with sales of the 2K9's being so dismal, they would at least lower the price from the get go.

  22. Looks like a pair of lebron's to me… But MJ never fails to bring the best materials and top performance products in the game. His shoes might be getting ugly, but there is no doubt in my mind these will be just as innovative as any other performance product he has released… Touch MJ

  32. Will I have to see them in person. It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. In this case I don't believe that. The pics looked washed out and the color looks faded. I will probably buy because I like the direction the brand took in it's design.

    Judging from all of the comments it doesn't look like many will be getting them. It's always fresh to have a pair of kicks that no one has. That why I got all of the AJ2009 colorways. People will look back and be like I should have got them. But it is what it is.

  35. JB has been slackin on looks since the XV, the only exception being the XX3. I havent seen 1 person wearing the 2k9 cuz its hideous and wayyyy overpriced.

  37. i will say this…this line should have been put the bed at xx3! not being harsh but i am looking at bottom line..these look like trash and as jordans as we all are hear we expect a wow factor and if a jumpman logo was not on these…you would say these are a generic converse..period. you have wade now..make a dope shoe like you know you can..if jb gotta pay a boat load to tinker so be it..the xx3 was pretty dope and super comfy..these at 170…are you kidding..the 2k9 was what 190 and sat on shelves to be later marked down in order to sell hardly a good biz practice for a shoe that is supposed to be your top line shoe! real talk! jb should terminate this immediately!

  38. I'll take my AJ XV's over these anyday. The whole point of the brand was excellence in performance and visual aspects. An expression of Mike himself.

    Yes with him gone maybe the shoes can represent whatever the designer feels like. But what is this?

    The AJ2k9 was about fencing…yadda yadda…fine a theme..

    What's the theme on this?

These may not be the best Jordan ever made because that shoe has already been created (jordan 11), but it is still a Jordan nevertheless and people will automatically gravitate to this shoe no matter what the look, or the cost. So everyone relax and enjoy because with the constant bad reviews who knows they may decide to pull the plug on Jordan all together…
