Jordan Brand will be remembering the time when Michael Jordan shattered the backboard during an exhibition game in Italy. Although it happened before the Air Jordan 1 released, he more than likely was wearing a prototype. 30 years later, the brand will launch the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG inspired by the moment.
This second look at the Shattered Backboard Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG shows us the brand is using a very soft leather, essentially it’s almost required now since they are apart of the remastered series. The actual color scheme derives from the jersey MJ wore during the game of orange, white and black. Saving the best for last, the insole has a rim with glass pieces.
