To celebrate adidas’s “60 Year of Soles and Stripes,” Hypethetic (Big Shaun and Little Joe) was asked to customize a one of one of the truly classic adidas Pro Model shoe to set the tone for six decades of creativity. By adding a collage print of various scenes of Singaporean house parties onto the leather of the shoe, the designers gave the shoe some customized soul. To contrast the printed leather, the shoe features a slightly yellowed midsole to keep up with its classic look. Hypethetic’s project represents only the Singapore part of adidas’s plan that will cover other Asian Pacific islands such as Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia
