Last we saw A Bathing Ape’s Bapesta, it had gone back to experimenting with patent leather, which helped make it famous since the silhouette’s inception. Now, BAPE seems to be trying to once again disallow passers by from staring at your bapestas by draping a set of five of them in foil. The set of five Bapestas come in pink/white, red/white, purple/white, blue/white and copper/white. While the midsoles, shoe laces, and inner lining come in white, the uppers, outsoles and actual BAPE logo on each shoe all come in the pair’s particular foil color. These are set to release from select BAPE retailers soon- dropping from BAPE New York and BAPE Los Angeles this coming Saturday November 21, 2009. Do you like the foil or patent leather pairs better?
