As you may know, the Agenda Tradeshow was hosted this past weekend at the Hyatt in Huntington Beach, California. The sea breeze and bright sun were the perfect settings for the shoe and apparel convention, which was host to many of today’s top urban brands. Nike SB showcased the upcoming Nike SB P-Rod 4, which sports a black/white colorway, as well as the Nike SB P-Rod 2.5, shown in various colorways. The P-Rod 4 is as lightweight as can be, focusing on utilizing high performance materials for some awesome skating. These babies will release in August 2010, but we’re sure that some accounts will get them early. Just remember that you saw them up close and personal at SneakerFiles!

So far, we’ve gotten looks at two pairs of the Nike SB Zoom Paul Rodriguez 2.5 scheduled to make an appearance in 2010: one colorway came in black/white, while the other one we took a look at came in deep burgundy/university blue. Perhaps what stands out the most on the P-Rod 2.5 is the vulcanized sole we’ve seen Nike implement on several other silhouettes. Now, we’d like to show you these preview images of three more pairs of the Nike SB Zoom P-Rod 2.5 releasing in 2010. While the red and blue pairs shown here come with the white vulcanized sole, the brown one sports what resembles more of a gum-colored vulcanized sole. So, what are your thoughts on the colorways of the Nike SB Zoom P-Rod 2.5 we’ve seen so far and the overall silhouette in general?

We kicked off the month of October by giving you a glimpse at two pairs of the Nike SB Zoom Paul Rodriguez III that are set to release next year, reportedly around Spring season. However, we have now spotted this black/teal-white pair of the Nike SB Zoom Paul Rodriguez III available online for $90. There are not many colors that, when executed on a nice sneaker silhouette, can be more attractive to sneaker fans than teel. This shoe is an example of just that, even subtly adding what resembles safari print on the part of the upper that sports black. Is this the best Paul Rodriguez III out of all those released and previewed so far?

This year we saw a couple of Nike SB Zoom P-Rod III’s go on sale, perhaps none better than the red suede pair we reported on earlier. Well, in 2010 it is reported that we’ll be seeing at least two more pairs of Paul Rodriguez’s third installment of signature Nike Skateboarding shoes. One pair will have a predominantly blue sapphire upper with white and black accents, as well as a black pattern on the front and heel of the shoe that resembles safari print. The second pair will come in black with minimal white and platinum metallic accents. Add these into the P-Rod III’s family and which one do you guys have as the cream of the crop?

Nike SB Zoom Paul Rodriguez 2.5 - Summer 2010

It seems as if the branches of Nike are all borrowing ideas from each other. For example, Nike SB has made a hybrid of sorts following in the footsteps of Jordan Brand and their .5 models such as the Air Jordan 16.5. The result is the Nike SB Zoom Paul Rodriguez 2.5, which is obviously a mix between the Nike SB Zoom P-Rod II and III. This particular 2.5 features a deep burgundy/university blue colorway, using a deep burgundy suede upper with deep burgundy leather on the swoosh and ankle panel. University blue is placed on the stitching and inner lining to accent the dark color. A nice clean white midsole gives the shoe a complete skate feel. Give us your thoughts on this 2.5 before it comes out Summer 2010.

Earlier this summer we reported that the third installment of Paul Rodriguez’s signature sneaker- the Nike SB Zoom P-Rod III would be popping up towards the end of the summer. We now have word that certain retailers in fact have this shoe in stock and ready to go out to the public. At first glance, some of the incorporated differences between the P-Rod III and his previous P-Rod’s I and II include an all-around sleeker design. For example, the sole is evidently more narrow and the tongue less bulky. The shoe also consists of a predominantly white leather base with black accents near the heel and check, and even a hint of red on the lace holes. Topped off with the iconic skateboarder’s signature, Nike certainly is paying a lot of attention to and doing a great job with continuously expanding a skateboarder’s shoe to appeal to athletes and non-athletes alike. Seeing as how certain retailers are already equipped with these bad boys, NOW would be a good time to check in with your local Nike SB retailers before it’s too late to get your hands on them.
