With the end of the 2009-2010 NBA season one Boston Celtics win/two Los Angeles Lakers wins away, the PF Flyers brand is reaching back into its archives and reissuing the Glide and Bob Cousy Hi. Originally released in 1979, the Glide this time around is being reissued in two colorways: white/green and white/black. Moreover, each pair comes with the padded tongue and heel ribs that have helped distinguish this sneaker from other PF Flyers sneakers. As for the high-top sneaker Bob Cousy helped make famous in his day, it will be reissued in a black/white, white, and green (in time for the Boston Celtics’ appearance in the NBA Finals) colorway. In April the PF Flyers brand released a collection of Sumfun Lows for the casual spring time stroll. For the summer, PF Flyers is trying to also help us prepare for those more physical activities. The Bob Cousy Lo All-American that originally released in 1956 has been reworked and releases this summer in six colorways: “natural,” black, red, navy, light grey, and ivory. This lightweight sneaker will be available for purchase from Neiman Marcuss department stores at a rate of $70 a piece. You can scope out each colorway here after the jump.

In late March ’10, we brought you news that PF Flyers was re-releasing the Sumfun High, and we are now receiving word that the low-top version of the same Sumfun silhouette will also be making its way to retailers this season. The Sumfun Low, which originally released in 1947, is set to drop in five new colorways: sky blue, kelly green, navy, natural, and black. All four styles host tonal uppers with a white midsole and are built on an authentic Posture Foundation insole. The PF Flyers Sumfun Low will release at Zappos.com in Spring 2010.

Earlier this month we brought you word of another collection of high-top shoes from PF Flyers- the Box Cut Center. We’d like to also show you what else the brand has in store for Spring 2010. Now we get to highlight for you the PF Flyers Glide high, which comes in an updated version that includes a padded tongue, ribs on the heel area, and special “terry” lining for an even more comfortable Posture Foundation insole. We also now see Italian sequin-printed leather as a new material experimented with along the upper of at least two colorways- silver/grey and copper/brown, which each retail for $150. The three other Italian sequin-printedless pairs retail for $85 each. This 1970′s-era resissued basketball sneaker is available for purchase now from select PF Flyers retailers including Neiman Marcus department stores.

Last year, we brought you a look at the PF Flyers holiday collection of the brand’s high-top Center silhouette. This year, PF Flyers is ready to introduce the reworked version of said sneaker model- the Box Cut Center high. Pictured here, the PF Flyers Box Cut Center high sports a slightly higher cut than the Center high and this Spring comes in three colorways: grey/orange, beige/red, and navy blue/yellow.
