All the buzz surrounding the East vs. West Rivalry pack has left the top and bottom ends of the compass feeling a little left out, a problem that Nike plans to remedy with the release of their North Pack. We saw a few models hit retailers earlier this month, but now we have images of a new addition to the pack, a three-tone colorway of  the Nike Dunk High. Featuring a Nike North tongue tag , the predominantly black model is tied together with hits of blue on the outsole, canvas ankle panel, Swoosh, and eyelets. With this model set to release in November, we can’t wait to see what the folks over in Beaverton are cooking up for the South.

To add to the list of October 2009 releases from Nike, Nike has released new colorways for the Nike Dunk Low and Nike Blazer High. The Nike Dunk Low comes in a black/varsity purple/white colorway, using a black and varsity purple leather upper, with a purple striped toebox, grey mesh inner lining, and white leather swoosh. The Dunk is part of the Nike rivals pack, as it represents Nike North on the tongue tag. The Nike Blazer High Urbano comes in a black/white colorway, using a black nubuck upper, classic black Blazer midsole, and white leather swoosh to match the white ankle panel. These are both out now for $78 a piece.

The Nike Hyperdunk model featured in DJ Clark Kent’s 112 pack is set to release anytime from now, as we get a look at some more detailed images of the premium basketball shoe. Previewed in June, the model is officially slated as a China exclusive release, but that won’t stop serious North American sneakerheads from getting their hands on a pair of the highly anticipated shoes. Featuring an Elephant Print upper, Black side panel, and vivid Neon Yellow accenting, the model is tied together with hits of 3M reflective material on the midsole and heel panel. A Quickstrike release, the model won’t be on shelves for very long, so make sure you stayed tuned for more detailed release information.

Although neither of these teams won this year’s NCAA National Championship, they have had a long legacy of being rivals and have showcased some of the best talents in college Basketball history. Georgetown and Syracuse were two of the original colleges that featured in Nike’s Be True campaign while University of North Carolina have had their history of the Carolina Blue being feature numerous times on Nike sneakers.

Self-Conscious in Chicago has collaborated with Adidas to form a Limited Edition Chicago inspired forum low limited to 75 pairs from a 500 Limited collaboration number that includes all 6 stores. 6 stores in total, 3 being “Old school” and 3 being “New School” have been chosen for the collaboration. The “Old school” stores have been chosen to collaborate on the Forum High in honor of the 25th anniversary Forum high shoe and released its collaboration on March 1st. The stores included Puffer Reds, Walters and Burnett’s.
