While Nike worked with Kanye West on the Air Yeezy model, the brand has been immensely successful for a long time without him- and will continue to be so. Now, the Louis Vuitton brand seems out to prove the same as it introduces the Sunlight sneakers pictured here, hoping they’ll do well despite not having Kanye West’s official stamp of approval. Releasing this holiday season with red and with blue accents, the pairs of the Sunlight sneaker sport both mesh, leather, and suede. Largely over shadowed by the Nike Air Yeezy, another pair of  Kanye’s lesser known ‘Glow in the Dark Tour’ Nike Air Huarache 08 have surfaced on eBay. Said to be one of only five pairs, the kicks were made exclusive for Mr. West during his string of neon-inspired concerts. Featuring vibrantly colored panels, the 3M material used for the upper certainly gives the model that extra bit of nighttime pop. Puma is definitely not afraid to take risks, especially on silhouettes like its famous “Monster” one. But now it takes a different sort of approach. As part of a limited edition three-shoe collection, Puma has compiled the Suede Mid-V LE in a yellow, a black, and a white colorway. They all sit atop completely white soles and substitute shoe laces for four straps- giving us a different way to listen to Kanye and try “shoes with no shoe strings.” Because this collection is limited you’ll have to do some hunting to find a place near by that’ll have you covered with this release- thus, your best bet might be an online retailer. Fans of the Reebok Ex-O-Fit High Strap silhouette might feel more confident in their adoration with the release of a non-Kanye-esque colorway of the modified pre-Yeezy sneaker. Originally released in 1987, the Ex-O-Fit High was fitted with a strap last year — around the same time that previews of the Air Yeezy begun to surface. As you can imagine, the model has mostly been written off as a cheap clone (despite an interesting Atmos collaboration… although the glow in the dark comparison was unavoidable), seeing predictably flashy colorways through out the course of the year. Reebok has finally released a more subtle (and in my opinion, better suited) colorway of sneaker, in a muted Grey/Black. Without the flashy uppers or high contrast accent colors, the model holds its own as a classic sneaker brought into the 21st century. The long wait is over for the Air Jordan VI x Nike Air Yeezy Doernbecher. The shoe has been put on eBay and the proceeds will go to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. The size 12 Nike Air Yeezy will come in a special lasered box, to showcase its one-of-one characteristic. The shoe itself is crazy, using a black upper consisting of a patent leather strap, leather ankle panel, suede toe, and perforated nubuck side panel. But most of all, the shoe sits atop a Jordan VI (6) outsole, making this black on black shoe the first and only of its kind. To contrast the shoe, the Air Yeezy lacelock is fitted in orange, standing out on this neckbreaker. So get ready to spend some real dough for a couple good causes: charity and heat for your feet.

Thanks in large part to its collaboration with rapper Kanye West, the Louis Vuitton brand has made a HUGE splash this year- and as you can see by these pictures, the hooplah seems much deserved. Now that it gears up for releases from its Fall/Winter Collection, the Louis Vuitton brand has been apparently very busy with another sleek sneaker model. Pictured here is a low-top sneaker that the brand has chosen to add a strap to over the shoelaces. In a predominantly black upper made of both leather and suede, this shoe also sports blue stitching and shoelaces.
