New Balance recently unveiled plans to continue releasing last year’s reissued U550 silhouette in new colorways for 2011. But the brand’s Spring/Summer 2011 plans also include the introduction of the New Balance 890 Trainer shoe. Pictured here, the New Balance 890 comes with a futuristic design that doesn’t get in the way of offering great foot support and a lightweight structure. Its REVlite foam midsole compromises no durability yet is 30% lighter than regular midsoles, and a seamless interior allows not only for extra comfort but also protects against too much friction. The New Balance 890 is available now from select New Balance carriers.
