A little over one week ago we came across a look into the samples closet that included a look at the 2000 retro version of the “Concord” Air Jordan XI. Today we go back to that year for a look at the Air Jordan retro V “Laney,” which was, of course, the first time Michael Jordan honored his Laney High School in North Carolina through his shoes. These instantly became a classic; and, with all of the retro/OG craze that Jordan Brand has already generated in the last months/years, if the “Laney” Air Jordan V saw a return in 2011, then it could very well cause the biggest shoe disturbance since… say… the Air Jordan VI/XI Defining Moments Package? One could only take a look at these pictures and HOPE.
