The Nike Air Flight series is making a comeback.
The OG Air Flight Lite was retroed not too long ago, yet by today’s standards… they weren’t very lightweight. Nike has decided to retool the OG into a modern basketball sneaker. Elements from the old are used on the new version along with some added key performance features.
Depending on the colorway, a mixture of synthetic leather and nubuck are used on the uppers. Mesh is used on the tongue along with small and large perforation holes for added breathability. Possibly the most notable upgrade is in the sole. Phylon is used throughout the midfoot area and a full length Air Bag encapsulated within for a great cushioned feel.
Look for these to drop on Eastbay.com later on this month for $88, not bad seeing as how the Hyperfuse is $99 with zero cushion in the heel. What’s up with that Nike?
