Already this year we’ve seen new House of Hoops locations open up in such locations as New York, Washington, California and New Jersey. Now you can take note of the latest addition to the House of Hoops family. This coming Wednesday September 1st, a new House of Hoops will open up on State Street in the Windy City of Chicago. Moreover, between 5 and 7pm on that day, the newest Chicago Bull- Carlos Boozer- will be making an appearance at the event for fans to try and meet and greet him. So if you’re in the Chicago area you might want to check out the grand opening events and try to have a word with C-Booz.

The store actually opened for the release of the Kobe V home and away (one of the few stores that had them). I asked the guys at the store why there wasn’t a grand opening like the other stores and they told me that they were opening early just to release the very limited Kobe V. I would have posted a long time ago but the guys at the store said I couldn’t takes pictures. Anyway, Boozer isn’t Kobe or D. Wade but I guess it’s better than having Noah. Or is it? Derrick Rose would have been my obvious choice. It must be a Nike thing.
