Nike Air Force 1 – Black History Month 2010

Nike Air Force 1 – Black History Month 2010

In 2007, Nike released an Air Max 90 in celebration of Black History Month. In 2008 and 2009, an Air Force 1 was released in the month of February to commemorate Black History Month. This time around, Nike has decided to stay with the Air Force 1 silhouette, and it features a black leather base accented by a red outsole, green midsole stripe, black patent leather swoosh with green stitching, and green/red stripes on the tongue. Another key aspect of this sneaker is the embossed text which reads, “The definition of a renaissance individual: one who possesses a multitude of skills, talent and a broad base of knowledge.” The “Black History Month 2010″ Air Force 1 is now beginning to arrive at select Nike retailers.
