Baron Davis has been doing his promotional duty for the overseas Li Ning brand he is under contract with. We’ve shown you Baron Davis roaming the streets of New York City and, of course, balling on the court in his Li Ning basketball sneakers. Now the Chinese sneaker brand has completed work on an off-the-court sneaker to further show its star American athlete love. Pictured here are great quality shots of the Li Ning BD 001 nicknamed “UCBD.” On the heel of this shoe you’ll see that Li Ning played off of the fact that California’s own B. Diddy played his college ball in UCLA, with the UCLA logo having the last two letters replaced with the player’s initials and coming in the Los Angeles Clippers colorway. Moreover, these sneakers include transluscent soles and the increasingly popular B. Diddy caricature on the tongue. 50 pairs of this shoe have reportedly been produced, but with no other release information yet available, make sure to check-in with us for any further developments.
