Nike Sportswear Icon Art – Nike Air Max 90 Hamburger

Nike Sportswear Icon Art - Nike Air Max 90 Hamburger

If running never made you hungry, then you weren’t running hard enough. Nike Sportswear commissioned the likes of eight artists, designers, and the like to give their piece of Nike Sportswear art to showcase at the 1912 Space. Olle Hemmendorff definitely seemed hungry when he constructed his Nike Air Max 90 Hamburger. The upper consists of sesame seed bun, with a cheese covering outlining the swoosh. The laces are also cheesed out with tomatoes as the lace panels. The midsole is where the meat is at, with a tomato as the Air Max logo. Ketchup outlines the Air Max unit in the midsole, and the bottom of the bun serves as the outsole. This is a great piece of art dedicated to NSW, but too bad it doesn’t have a long shelf life.

very cool, if not a bit gross

    two things though:

-the meat is the MUDGUARD, not the midsole

-the bottom bun is the midsole

  30. Does your website correctly show emoticons? Because my site cannot…

  31. The beauty of these blogging engines and CMS platforms is the lack of limitations and ease of manipulation that allows developers to implement rich written content and 'skin' the internet site in such a way that with really little effort 1 would never notice what it's making the internet site tick all without limiting content material and effectiveness.
