no, they are probably called the will ferrell. nike would need to obtain licensing to use the name “ron burgundy” (which i doubt it would be given), as it is intellectual property and protected under copyright. thus, calling it the “will ferrell”, might excuse them of any legal woes, that is unless, will ferrell wants to sue them for using his name, but i don’t know if that’s possible.
this is logical. Ron Burgundy wore a lot of sneakers in the movie.
