2009 has been dubbed as the year of the Air Jordan 1, and Jordan Brand continues to release new colorways of their first numbered model. This time around, the AJ 1 comes in a clean black on black style. To accent the simplicity of the colorway, Jordan Brand has incorporated various materials into this sneaker. The upper is coated in leather, ostrich (textured) leather, and synthetic mesh, while the sole comes in rubber. Unfortunately, there is no concrete release information regarding the Black/Black Air Jordan 1 (I) High Ostrich, but there are rumors floating around that the sneaker will release in the first week of July ‘09.

Jordan Brand is just releasing a lot of colourways of the ones so that there is a variety of colourways available, since it has common features of AF1’s and dunk’s,& both those models have lots of colourways and are always popular, JB wants in on that, just stick to the good colourways and the ones you like and all of you will be fine, stop getting to hyped and mad about colourways that don’t make you happy, JB can’t please everyone all the time…
