Release Reminder: June 6, 2009

The time has finally come for the third colorway of arguably the most sought after sneaker of 2009, the Nike Air Yeezy, to release. There is no denying the hype behind this sneaker. The first colorway sold out within minutes, the second colorway sold out within minutes, and the third colorway is expected to sell out–no surprise here–within minutes. If you are currently not in line in front of a store expected to carry the Air Yeezy, you have an extremely low chance of purchasing the sneakers for even close to retail price. Nonetheless, this Nike Air Yeezy features a tan upper with pink accents seen via the inner lining, dark grey accents seen on the toecap, a white mid-sole, and a glow-in-the-dark sole.

Though Kobe has worn a plethora of GR colorways upto now, he walked onto the court last night with a special, Kobe exclusive ZKIV. This pair featured a white base with forum blue accents seen on the mid-sole, heel, inner lining, and toe box, while gold accents are visible via the out-sole, the Kobe signature, the logo on the tongue, and the text on the sneaker which refers back to some of Kobe’s accomplishments, such as his 61 point performance at Madison Square Garden earlier this year.
