That's mostly because they sucked. That said, I still enjoy the world of basketball shoes. To each his own is what I say. And to respond to:THE STANDARD AKA THE FOOTWORK KING. I do wear a pair of ALL of the shoes we produce for the open market. I keep 6 pair for myself since my initial prototype shoe that was presented to me at my meeting with Nike in 1984 which at first did not have the original Air Jordan logo just the words Air Jordan stamped on the uppers in my personal collection of shoes. The reason for 6 is it represents the 6 rings I earned. I do check in now and then to see what kind of response is being submitted to the shoes we are putting out.
